We were very happy to hear that Pastabilities opened up again after a long wait. We have been going there since they opened as a take- out only, in 1988. The inside has changed considerably since they opened up as a sit down restaurant. You have to be there to really appreciate the decor...it's nothing like you will see in... More

Plain & simple. I stumbled upon this place in search of an Italian restaurant to have dumber before a show at the grand opera house. I'm from Maryland which has an incredible little Italy of it's own... So I've had some great Italian. This was the best... And I'm going to make the hour or so drive just to eat... More

After a long hiatus, we had the chance to visit Pastabilities again and we were not disappointed.I can't speak for the whole menu since I end up ordering my all time favorites. The hot antipasto for 2 and Chicken Bobby O'Neill... a breaded chicken cutlet topped with ricotta cheese, eggplant, cheese and topped with homemade marinara or meat sauce and baked... More

I have driven by Pastabilities numerous times, and often missed it because it is small and tucked in with a number of row homes. However, a friend advised me that I should make a point of dining here if I am in the area. Great advice. Free street parking is always a plus, but that is usual outside of the... More

My husband and I ate here for the first time this evening. Upon entering the eatery I was confident that I would enjoy my meal because it smelled so delicious inside. The atmosphere is quirky, the tables and space are small, but those are the only negatives. The service was efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. The fried mozzarella appetizer was 2... More

This restaurant is the tiny package with the huge gift inside. My husband and I were both thrilled with the atmosphere as well as the delicious dishes. As we waited for our food (freshly prepared) we were entertained by the eclectic, homey surroundings that included many items from our childhood and young adult years. Our server was attentive yet unobtrusive.... More

We ate at Luigi Vitrone's Pastabilities after a visit to Winterthur that was cut very short by hideous Memorial Day weekend traffic. We'll never drive I-95 on a holiday again, but we'll go back to the museum & would most certainly dine here in the future. The neighborhood is not chi-chi, but we felt perfectly safe walking to & from... More

In a rough area, so bring protection! Also, food is way too heavy with garlic. Atmosphere is strange -mix of neon and linens? Service however is pretty decent. Not a place I would ever go to again....oh and it too expensive!

I ate here with my daughter. The ambiance of the restaurant is early Marilyn Monroe. It's a very cool little restaurant, with early 60s memorabilia all over. The service is very good. The pastas and sauces and traditional meatballs and sausages were very delicious and definitely homemade. The salad was also very fresh and had some wonderful local ingredients. The... More

We went on a Saturday night, expecting great Italian food as per all of the reviews on the internet as well as Zagat. We had the spiced apple soup as an appetizer...although it was good, it would have been better presented as a dessert course. I ordered the Hunters Cannelloni and my partner ordered the Veal Valdostino. Both entrees were... More
