Convenient to several large office buildings. Food is decent non-meatball Italian. Staff is friendly and usually helpful and efficient. Has a popular post-office hour bar.

We went here with friends before a show at the Playhouse. It took a while for everyone to arrive, but once we did we were seated quickly. The restaurant was fairly empty so I was hopeful that we could take our time over our meals, then just stroll over to the Playhouse. After quite a while, we had to ask... More

For a very slow night I was surprised at how little attention we were offered by our waitress. She only had one other table to cover and that was well after we started eating. The menu is very limited and a bit pricey. We both ordered items not offered on the dinner menu so it was nice that they do... More

We had been here before but returned the other night to catch a meal and a show. Have NO idea why others may not have loved it but we do. Arrived late (TRAFFIC) and told them we had to really hustle to catch our show and they really put out! We did make the show..... As for the food, my... More

We travel to Wilmington a couple of times a year and always stop here. One reason is they allow our dog on the patio. The food has always been good. This time we went on a Saturday night and we were the only people eating? We wondered what was up?

They pretend to be super fine dining. Wish they'd focus more on the quality of food and service instead of the linens. The food was ok, a little pricey for lunch but not outrageous. The service was terrible, we waited over a half hour to get our food, which is unacceptable since i only have an hour for lunch break.

I am very disappointed in this restaurant because it could be so nice--great location, so near my office. But, the food is poor quality and poor taste. And, the service was strange. I walked in with a colleague and waited at the hostess stand for 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us--don't get me wrong, they did see us but just... More

So food is good. Karen is great. Not so sure it's the place to relax and enjoy. Had some issues with slow service and the restaurant is not usually full but they appear to have issues with handling traffic.

I have walked past Cafe Mezzanotte dozens of times, never realizing it was there. A business colleague suggested we meet there and I am glad he did. The food from appetizers through dessert was terrific...some of the best food I have ever had in Wilmington. Our group shared 3 pasta dishes to start and then shared a delicious ribeye for... More
