Haven't been here in years and what a mistake! Great food and service and especially Tom who went over and above to give excellent service. I will definitely be back with the hubby and friends!

Where could we eat the night before Thanksgiving? Right next door (almost) to where we were staying. We were hoping to have a more varied menu, but it was limited . . . which is EXACTLY what a gastropub menu is supposed to be. I...had a salad that was excellent. My wife had the fish tacos. She had a Margarita that she loved. I had a beer that was just fine. The service was excellent. The atmosphere is true gastropubesque. Would I return? In a heartbeat. A good venue. Good food. Excellent service. Reasonable prices. What more could you ask for?More

I just read through the old reviews for this restaurant and I am really surprised. Is it because they went here so long ago in the Covid era ? Maybe. We had a fantastic experience here. Our waitress was fantastic, the atmosphere was great and...everyone’s food was delicious. We got the normal guac and it was really good. It doesn’t say this on the menu but it also comes with a bowl of salsa. The chips were really good and we got a good portion of guac. It was called the Del Pez guac. Here is every other item we got and I would recommend all. Carnitas street tacos, primo rib taco, Texas bbq taco and the baha mahi taco. We also got the chicken Y shrimp and wow, not basic by any means. It is super seasoned and comes with a lot of toppings. I think the Chicken Y shrimp and Primo Rib taco stood out the most. I would highly recommend going here.More

Street tacos come by 3. Chicken $14, carnitas $14, grilled shrimp $14. Can I have one of each? Impossible, cannot change the menu🤔Makes you wonder if they come in a box!

We were at the Wilmington Riverfront on July 4th and decided to try Del Pez. It's been there for a while, taking the place of Kooma oh so long ago. The space in the interior looks similar, but DP has outside seating as well. Kids...meals were nice. Lots of food for the kids, so they were happy. My wife always gets the fish tacos. Same here. I tried a taco sampler. The shrimp one was probably the best, but it might have been because I tackled it first. By the time I got to the last two tacos, the bottom of the soft corn tortilla shell was falling apart. Whatever they can do to keep the shells from doing that will improve the diner's experience.More

I've been coming to this place for a while now. I love the food and the drinks are always on point. I never had an issue until tonight. I had a (very long) hair in my drink. Before I could even say something it was...replaced with a new drink (not what I originally and was added to my bill. Not only was there a hair in my drink but I still had to pay for it! The manager was extremely rude about the situation and never let me explain what truly happened. The server was also very inattentive and only came over to check on us about once or twice. I most likely will never be going here again. If you are looking for a place with "alright service" this is the place for you.More

two of the four meals were average one was good and mine was pretty bad. The four taco sampler I got one was good, the shrimp. The pork the beef and the duck were all overcooked and chewy. The toppings were awful. However, great staff...and bar area. easy convenient parking.More

First visit. Sat outside. Nice patio - well shaded. With breeze it was a little on the chilly side. Since first visit, we were given a free sampler appetizer. It was yummy. There were 4 in our party. Everybody was very happy with their meals....Portion sizes were good, on the larger size. Guacamole was very good - fresh and fried habaneros were tasty and spicy! Enchiladas were good - white sauce vs traditional red, little on sweet side. Burger was cooked perfectly. Chips tasty. Salsa has good spice to it. Server was very good. Looking forward to returning.More

We visited with friends who live in the area. Personally, I was eager to try as my husband generally dislikes Mexican restaurants as there are generally limited choices to his liking. When Del Pez was suggested, I took a quick look at menu and I...was quite pleased to see that at least my spouse could have a burger if nothing else was to his liking. I am so pleased that we visited as we all four enjoyed the entire meal. We started by sharing the wings. Everyone enjoyed – especially my husband. They were char grilled and quite tasty! For the main dish my husband ordered the Chimichurri Salmon and he loved it! Myself and one of our friends went with a Short Rib special that was ‘out of this world”! Cancun Shrimp was the other dish. We all enjoyed the food! Drinks were not quite as noteworthy. A Sangria was a huge disappointment! The Mezcal Mule was ok. However, the smashed strawberries at bottom of cup (not listed on ingredients list) were gross so I switch to an El Chavo Margarita. The margarita was fine. However, seemed to skimp on the tequila as several (on top of Mezcal Mule) had no effect. The member of our party who stuck with a craft beer seemed most pleased with his drink. Churros for desert were quite tasty. The patio seating was very pleasant as was the service. I would return. However, I must caution that it seemed overcrowded on a Saturday evening. We had eaten a very early dinner and it was perfect. However, after our meal we all walked along the river to enjoy the pleasant weather (may have been the last such warm evening for a while) and after our walk, I stopped back to use the rest room prior to commencing a long drive back to Philly suburbs and I was surprised at how crowded the vestibule was with people waiting to be seated and definitely not following social distancing guidelines. Until there is a vaccine, I will try to visit during non-popular times.More

Del Pez fuses the warmth and friendliness of a traditional pub with a diverse and delicious cuisine, especially truffle chips, nachos and pinna colada. We were treated by our son in law's 2 cousins.

Much better than expected. There wasn’t as much Mexican food on the menu as I thought should be for it being a Mexican restaurant, but the chicken enchiladas were great and the black beans were some of the best I’ve had as a side dish....Great local beer selection as well.More

We had brunch at Del Pez for the first time and were quite impressed. They have a wonderful omlette that is served with home fries and fruit...simply delicious! We also had the breakfast burrito and that too was very good. Add to that a very...pleasant waiter and it all added up to a wonderful dining experience.More
