I went with some friends and it was just ok. We sat down for a good 15-20 minutes before a waitress came to our table. It was not very busy. The food was decent. Loved the Halloween decorations. However the service was bad and do...not plan to return. Too bad because it is in walking distance.More

Kind of tasteless tenderloin sandwich, yet a nice tender cut of meat. Shame it wasn’t seasoned. Sweet potato fries were fried in old grease! Iced tea tasted like it had been sitting for at least a week. Lemons were disgusting!

Visited today for lunch for the first time in 2020. I was very impressed with the availability of tables inside and out and the cleanliness of the restaurant. All staff were wearing masks, even one of the cooks that came out to speak to a...guest. I had the Hawaiian Cibatta and my husband had the steak filet sandwich. Both were very good. Service was fantastic (sorry that I didn’t catch our servers name). Two meals and 3 grapefruit crushes and our bill was less than $50. Well worth it! Thank you Smitty’s for a wonderful lunch with a water view! For those visiting, you will notice the sign on their doors that they are closed now Tuesday and Wednesday due to lack of staff as many restaurants in the area are. Be patient....be kind....here and all other establishments. This is not the way these business owners and employees wanted to operate this year and they are all doing their very best.More

I have frequented this restaurant many times and have never had an issue. During my most recent visit in June of 2020 I was very disappointed. Being mindful of the Covid situation my party chose to sit outside. We were seated quickly at a table...that was covered with flies. Obviously eating outside does have its issues, and bugs cannot always be helped. I attribute the flies to the fact that there was a very strong garbage smell in the air. While waiting for our waitress I noticed that most staff were wearing masks, however, when our waitress approached our table she was not wearing a mask. As she took our order she was continually sniffing and appeared to have a cold or allergies. This was very alarming and made us feel very uncomfortable. In addition to this another customer, that must have also been an employee, was walking around pruning plants and breaking large limbs off of potted palm trees, this was loud and distracting. The combination of the smell, flies, and unmasked server with a cold prompted us to leave.More

Probably the worse food I’ve ever eaten, I’m not sure how they have been in business for so long. Keep driving.

Food and service was nothing special. Island Ciabatta sandwich was decent but a tad over priced and the buffalo chicken dip was a $3 portion that costed $10. Don’t be misled by the “NO REFUNDS” on the spicy items as they are not spicy.

This is a great restaurant/bar for great sandwiches and appetizers. We had the mild wings (glad they have this, lots of places only have hot and we are wimps). They are not so mild that they have no flavor and after about five of them...some heat will start to build up. They are cooked perfectly so nice crispy outside and cooked all the way through. Also split the French dip, an excellent sandwich. We tried the butter garlic french fries. They are really fattening and really really good. Come on, fried and butter added. We had enough for several people so left a lot on the table. There are worth trying but you might want to have a party of four.More

Stopped in to get wings Haven’t been here in a long time. Heard that wings were “hit or miss” from different people. I ordered them and they were cooked perfectly.

This place is dark, dirty, and understaffed. We waited 15+ minutes for water after we were seated. I had to wipe the sticky, crumb-y table off myself. A glance around showed a lot of dirty tables, dust and FILTHY stained carpeting in a few areas....While waiting, I overheard a manager? (blonde woman) berating one of the staff members. Our food was mostly edible but that's about it... maybe a level below what I'd expect to get at Applebee's or a similar restaurant, but more expensive. My son's food (roast beef sandwich that I guess was toasted in the oven) was overcooked and the server told us there had been issues with the oven (???) I heard they are cutting back their open days on off season and I can see why... this is no way to run a business! We recently bought our first vacation home in OCMD and this place came highly recommended but eww! I know it's a sports bar type place, and a lot of patrons are probably three sheets to the wind or enjoying the "atmosphere" of loud sports games with their friends and perhaps those factors are enough to get them to overlook everything else -- but objectively from someone who came in with high expectations - it's DIRTY, dark, overpriced, and the atmosphere of a manager yelling at employees and being told straight up that the ovens aren't working while my son tries to chew through burnt bread leaves much to be desired!More
