I had the Shredded Pork with Vegetables for $16.95 which the menu said contained shredded pork, onions, green beans, and asparagus. It was terrible! The pork barely tasted like pork and it seemed to be a highly processed item made from poor quality chewy pulverized unidentifiable something. It was not at all what I expected. I thought the pork would... More

Now, the title of this review must be taken with a grain of salt because not only am I of Asian descent, I've also been exposed to amazing Chinese food. The ambiance was lovely. I took my family there for dinner. I should also say that I typically will not go out to each Chinese food on vacation because you... More

Confucius is not your ordinary Chinese restaurant. This is a high-level Asian gourmet adventure. It is located in a plush residential abode, and like other converted-house restaurants in Rehoboth, is high-brow delicious, though pricey. I threw caution to the wind and tried the Ma-Lo Chicken, which prompted the waitress to ask, " Have you had this before? It is quite... More

Definitely not the bastardized version of Chinese food that one is usually subjected to in the US.. Fresh, authentic, tastefully acute and the service is welcoming and attentive.. As written in numerous savvy reviews, the Seafood Hot & Sour soup lived up to those reviews.. Perfect and loaded with seafood, tofu and shrooms.. Highly recommend.. I had the Cumin Beef... More

Didn't feel like waiting for a table at a nearby restaurant so decided to try Confucius and am glad we did. The place is bright and clean, and contemporary in design. From the start, we realized this is not your typical Chinese restaurant. The staff is friendly and helpful. The entries are more like "Gourmet" Chinese food. We had the... More

After my friends left this restaurant, they could not stop bragging about this new culinary experience. They tasted something new and authentic. My friends live in the Rehoboth beach neighborhood and they frequented Confucius. Whenever I visited, they always arrange for a meal here because they knew I speak the same language the owners speak (Mandarin), I can directly communicate... More

My partner and I love this place. Although they have some standard items such as potstickers (called thick skinned pork dumplings), the menu is a bit different from your standard Chinese Restaurant, and that's part of what makes this place special. For example, we love the Chicken with Long Hot Peppers. If you ask for spicy here, you'll definitely get... More

This is by far the BEST Chinese Restaurant. We had Won Ton Soup, Coconut Shrimp, Grouper with Oyster Sauce, and Chicken with Chinese Egg Plant. All were Excellent!!!! Also, the service was outstanding. We will always return to try different items on the menu and we know that we will not be disappointed with the quality and quantity.

My husband and I have been coming to Rehoboth for many years and before we were married I came here for years prior. For whatever reason I never ate Chinese food during the summer - BIG MISTAKE!!! We came here about a month ago for dinner and had such a fantastic dinner that we decided to come back again. We... More

The restaurant was quietly elegant. The food was the best since we visited San Fran. I had moo shu pork and my husband had soft shell crab and hunan beef. Both were tasty. The service was perfect. We will definitely return.
