Wanted to pick up a rum cake for my wife. Brought it home and rum cake is suppose to be moist . It was a dry box cake with little to no taste. I should go back and ask for my $ 10.95 back.

This has become a mandatory place for us to visit when we are in town. We stopped in for dinner. I had the chicken parm and my wife had a pasta dish. We also had the meatball appetizer. All were excellent. Bread was fresh and...tasty. Service was fast and pleasant. Beer was nice and cold. Prices and portions were very fair. No negatives here. These folks have the formula down correct.More

Lived in the heart of great Italian restaurant area, Philadelphia and Delaware County, for over fifty years. This place is better than almost every one of them. The antipasti ingredients were the absolute best and the serving was very generous. The roasted red peppers were...incredible. Our entrees were both excellent - orchietti (sp?) with rustic sausage and broccoli rabe, and the best lasagna ever. This place has the very best ingredients, so a simple preparation like the antipasti or the orchietti just shine. The dessert case will make you want everything. The service was very nice too.More

Pretty good food and great service, wish the menu had a bit more options, lots of pasta, was not a huge fan of the tomatoe sauce but overall pretty good.

I cannot begin to understand where the 5-star reviews for this place are coming from. It was totally average, "Italian American" style food like you would get in a pizzeria. It was edible, in the Italian-American style, and it filled my stomach, is about the...best I can say for it. Their "famous" pastries were terrible. Avoid. The pizza was "meh." Nothing special. If you are familiar with quality Italian cuisine, stay away! If you think The Olive Garden is good, you will probably like it here. Their deli /cafe in Lewes had decent prosciutto, cheese, and assorted items, and it looked like they had the same quality here. The service was friendly. The atmosphere was undistinguished. I would definitely not come back.More

We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend and boy are we glad we did. We were a group of eleven (6 adults, 5 children) and requested a table outside. The table was all set up when we arrived, and we got...an extremely warm greeting from Peter (the manager), who constantly checked on us throughout the evening to make sure everything was perfect - it was! He made sure we got everything we needed, as did our wonderful server, Katlyn, who was very friendly and super accommodating. As far as the food goes - WOW. We had the meat balls as an appetizer and pizza for the kids to share, and they were both very good, and for the main courses we had three different pasta dishes, the eggplant parmigiana and chicken parmigiana. Not only was everything absolutely delicious, the portions were HUGE. Each chicken parmigiana serving would easily have been enough for 2 or 3 people. We have so much of everything left over we could be eating it for the next day or two. Then, to top everything off, when Peter learned that it was my granddaughter's birthday, he brought out a piece of possibly the best cheesecake many of us have ever tasted with a candle so we could sing "Happy Birthday". We also went home with a box of unbelievable Italian pastries that were really delicious. We definitely look forward to coming back.More

Most of the entrees we got weren't that great - chicken parmesan, salmon and ravioli. The eggplant parm was good. Curiously there was little sauce on the gummy ravioli. The 'fresh' bread wasn't wonderful and the salad was quite wilted with soggy croutons. The bright...spot for me was a sweet and caring waitress. It seemed overpriced to me - similar food to Olive Gardens but more expensive.More

This place is a hidden gem in Rehoboth beach I come down about 6 to 8 times a year and this is a must stop for their Italian hero sandwich I live in Northeast Pennsylvania and there’s a big competition among heroes, subs and hoagies. This...is far better than anyone we have in our areaMore

My wife and I popped in for dinner. Lucky for us they had a chicken parm dinner special since we both love chicken parm. The portion was huge and delicious! Good food, good prices, good service. They do it right here.

My grandson & I are pizza junkies; above all else we appreciate food well made. The dishes we enjoyed were delicious! Garlic loaf, pizza, calzone, and a side dish of asparagus.......each item delicious. We were even provided fresh bread with EVOO for starters. So smart...of the folks to put the beautiful desserts right up front to tempt us. Above and beyond service was provided also. Worth the trip, worth the price. (Next time I see I'll have the Prosecco too!)More

No, you should be okay The only time that I have made a reservation is when there was a group of us going . The one on Rt. 1 in Rehoboth is larger than the one in Lewes. Enjoy. Mary Ann
