This was located in downtown Rehoboth and then moved onto Rt1. This is the old TGIF building. Third time here as we part visitors. Very friend bartenders and a good local following. I ordered Shrimp cocktail. It was good (hot) and there was quite a...bit. My wife loved her meal, Chicken with Shrimp with a brown sauce and some vegetables. I ordered Lemon Pepper wings as they were out of what I ordered. They were ok but probably should have stuck to a more traditional wing seasoning. There are so many places to eat in this area, while a nice place, wouldn't make my Top 20 but since its close to house and they have music we go.More

This is a Sports and Fun bar designed for bar-goers, and has a bar-food menu, but I am going to praise the burgers because that is what we had tonight at their new Monday Burger Night. Burgers are Half-Priced ! A great deal for a...delicious burger, and there are many burgers including Turkey, Sausage, Pork, and Beyond-Burgers, and a variety of tasty toppings. Buy one at half price, buy one get one, buy two for one (the higher priced one) or other such similar wording. Point is -- excellent Angus burgers. The cole slaw was good too. You can get chips or fries instead of slaw. There are other regular menus, and Happy Hour selections, but that for another review.More

My wife and I walked in the pond at 5:30 for dinner we were greated at the entrance by a very nice young gentleman who said sit yourself down in any booth and he will return to us with menus, we were the only ones...in the room, he gave us the menu's and told us it was burger night special, next a waitress comes to our table and tells us the gentleman is in training, it is his first day that she will take care of us, she brings us waters, next the room starts to fill up, she starts running from table to table taking drink orders and food orders, not taking our order, just telling us to wait, finally I flag down the new guy and asked him to take our order, that I don't want her to wait on us, he takes our order, I asked for a garden salad to start with and one of the burger special's and a beer, wait about 15/20 minutes no beer yet then he tells me they are all out of that burger, fine I order a cheese steak sandwich with sauteed onions and again ask for the beer, wait another 15 minutes we finally got the salads, 1/2 minutes go by cheese steak sandwich arrived, still working on the salad, when I get to the sandwich, no sauteed onions, after I finish half of the sandwich he came over and asked how everything is, told him no onions, the fries were burnt, and was never offered ketchup. I told him it's not his fault, that he's being trained by an airhead, place seems mismanaged. Very painful experience.More

I was 2 miles from getting to my motel and GPS said 20 minutes. It was Memorial day weekend. I saw the sign for The Pond. I knew it had moved to Rte 1. Stopped in to the bar and had draft beer with a...basket of pretzel sticks with Quesso dip. Very good. Good service at barMore

Food was just ok. Fries seemed "re fried" and we're very hard, no special flavor. The brussel sprouts need a spoon to eat just bc they were chopped to nothing, you had better luck stabbing the burnt bacon, again no special flavor. The kids Mac...and Cheese was probably the best of it all, and rather impressive that it was not blue boxed Mac. The "pond favorite" Ruben was as good and chilled as if you picked it up at the Wawa (if Wawa made them). Again, not bad, but nothing I will spend my valuable family time for.... The time was the main issue, however. An hour and half spent in nearly an empty restaurant. Took forever to get the kids meals but the kids meals were done and gone before we saw the 2 adult meals (fish & chips, and a sandwich). I was ready to go 45 mins before we finally had the opportunity to pay the waiter. I'd certainly recommend many other restaurants in the area before this one. Don't let the reviews fool you like it did us.More

Thank you, Pond, for being there when so many places were closed after 8. At 7:55, my husband had the doors to 5 guys closed in his face, so we called the Pond to order a burger to go. In 20 minutes, we had a...great burger to bring back to the hotel.More

They were happy to accommodate us at the last minute we were out looking for something to eat and everything was closed or closing. It was within a short walking distance from our hotel, outside seating due to COVID-19, but we like outside seating anyway....The waiter was very nice and professional. Food came out in a timely fashion. Food was decent, and not overpriced. It’s off on a side street, not very big, they had a live band playing, a bit too loud but we survived it. Overall a decent spot to chill and eat.More

We were so excited to get out for the first time since COVID. We were a bit disappointed. It was super loud, we couldn’t even talk. The staff was extremely attentive and they did a great job with COVID safety regulations. The food was okay....The rum runners were top shelf. The chicken ranchero wrap was above average.More

Just went to the Pond for the first time. We dropped in for a glass of wine and some wings. The price for wings on the menu is, market price. In the last super bowel, Americans ate 1,400, 000,000 chicken wings. Wings are not priced...like lobster. They do that because if the menu said 10 wings $16, no one would buy them. While the ridiculous price pays a small roll, the WWW award (worlds worse wings) goes to the Pond because they belong in in the garbage. We ordered 5 lemon pepper and 5 mild. Imagine picking up a wing, pouring a heaping table spoon of salt on it then eating it. Those 5 we threw away. The mild 5 were wings served floating in an oil with no taste at all. I love wings and have eaten 1000s of them, I have had good and bad, but the Pond not only charges the most but offers the worst wings you will ever throw away.More

Nice beer selection! Great music scene! Attentive service by Logan. The kitchen was definitely off..the shrimp were cooked properly but had no taste. At $13 for half a pound definitely needed some spice like old bay. The meatloaf dinner..nice portion but was sent back because...it was cold. The potatoes billed as mashed appeared as greasy hashbrowns from breakfast. The string beans were ok. I had the onion and blue cheese burger (not pictured) i asked for medium i got well done. I asked for no roll..served just on plate without a lettuce or green bed ( shouldn't have to ask for it) the tater tots were yummy. The tortilla chips with sides (the avocado was off) The chicken quesadilla was delivered as a cheese as they were out of chicken. Wasn't told out of chicken till delivered so alternative choice could've been made. I don't believe this is the norm for The Pond. Will give its food another chance.More

The Pond is still one of my favorite hangouts in Rehoboth after many years. Whether I’m getting a quick drink or sticking around longer for a more lightly visit, the Pond is a great place to hang out. The food, selection of beers, cocktails, and...service are all excellent. Chris is doing a great job behind the bar!More

We got into Rehoboth beach and went right to The Pond because of the recommendation of the Hotel staff. Great place with great service and the Fish tacos were the best I have had. Would definitely go again.

Yep. We took our one year old there. High chairs are available, but there wasn’t a kids menu. I just ordered a side of mac and cheese though and that was delicious!
