The menu choices were very interesting and I was pleased to try something I had not had previously. The food did not disappoint! The service was excellent and I would highly recommend. (Make an advance reservation!).
The lobster rolls were good - the rest average - the service extremely poor - waited for a drink and then our meal - others surrounding us had to ask about the delayed food or the missing waiter - my friend and I ordered an...appetizer followed by a lunch course - the waitress commented - you ladies must be very hungry today. Something to be thought not said if in the restaurant business.More
This place was awful.
I have no idea why it has 4 stars.
The location is nice (on the boardwalk) but it has weird, dated fake Victorian decor that is neither charming nor trendy. It was bizarre.
The food was borderline terrible and the menu...is limited and overpriced. Crummy steak on a salad and a lousy dessert, overpriced. I kind of had to force it down.
Typical overpriced bad beach place.
I would never come back here for any reason.More
My wife asked to choose Victoria's for lunch while we were at the beach. Although I wanted to try a different place, I agreed in order to please her. This time, we were seated inside. The issue this time was my order.
I asked for...the TWO crab cake platter. We enjoyed coffee while we waited for our food. Our server then brought my lunch. He presented to me, however, only ONE crab cake platter. After correcting him, he returned to the kitchen. Then, yet a different server approached our table with the 2nd crab cake.
At that juncture, both servers stood there, each with a single crab cake platter in their hands. I asked them to please have my lunch placed on ONE dish. They both stood there dumb founded, and then returned to the kitchen. One server did return with my lunch on one platter. Again communication 101 is surely missing here.More
While we were staying at the Boardwalk Plaza hotel, we ate several meals at the restaurant. We enjoyed the cream of crab soup, the ceasar salad, oysters on the half shell, the duck and swordfish (the catch of the day), several lunch sandwich options and...several breakfasts. The only thing I had that I did not think was worth the price was the seafood salad. Everything else was good and the service was wonderful.More
This is part of the Boardwalk Plaza Hotel and they do not give preference to hotel guests. Some wait staff is very rude. We stayed at the hotel and went down for breakfast. We were told they could not accommodate our party of 5, yet...the place was empty. We complained and were finally seated. The place never filled up the whole time we were eating. The food was poor and the price high. The waitress was rude. When she brought over everyone's orders, she did not have mine. She looked at me and said "Well what did you get1" Really?More
My wife, son, daughter and I ate dinner at Victoria's Restaurant in July 2021. We ate outside with a view of the boardwalk and beach. Our service was very good with Teddy from Bulgaria. I had a cup of cream of broccoli soup and a...Caesar salad with grilled chicken in it. My son had an Angus cheeseburger. My wife and daughter shared a giant lobster tail with mashed potatoes and asparagus and also a Caesar salad. We all shared dessert which was chocolate raspberry cake. Being able to dine outside and watch the passersby on the boardwalk and the sunset was a good experience.More
Food was very good.
The dinner menu, although not large, is adequate.
For dinner my wife and salmon and I had a steak. Both were very good. My steak was soft and flavorful.
The brunch menu has a good variety of dishes, waffles, pancakes, omelets,...fruit, etc.My wife had an omelet and I had pancakes. Both were very good.More
