Wonderfully fresh. A perfect gyro for lunch. The lamb was seasoned and cooked perfectly, warm pita, crisp lettuce and delicious sauce. The french fries were right out of the fryer. Yum.

Restaurants by the beach often offer subpar quality and quantity items with a high price point; Semra's is no exception. However, it is located right by the beach and we enjoyed our food outside sitting on one of the numerous benches that line up the...boardwalk. Five small pieces of lamb with salad along with mushy fries cost over $28 with tips, but it is the beach. Prep takes some time as well. Basically it deserves a 3 star, but I gave it a four due to its wonderful location, plus not very many places offer kosher or halal by the beach anywhere.More
We stopped for dinner this week. Greek salad was awesome. Gyro was delicious, great flavor and large portions of lamb and beef. Baklava was crispy, sweet and so very good. Can’t wait to return.
Food ready fairly quickly like 20 minutes. Definitely worth the wait for healthier boardwalk food. Falafel was especially good. Also enjoyed the babaganoush.
The Ambiance in this restaurant is beautiful. The lighting is unique. The staff who was the owner was so wonderful. He greets all of his guests. He eve sat us down at a table. The Vegetarian entree was amazing and so was the Salmon entree....The food is amazing. Iv'e been to a few mediterranean places before but this I must say is one of the best. The pricing is medium but I think it's well worth it. A must GO!More
When I come here with a specific friend, we always made sure we come and eat here. My friend was stationed in Turkey for a few years, can speak fluent Turkish and know the food very well. Came this time and we had the mezze...platter (must order) and schwarma. We left with a full and happy belly.More
Vegetarian appetizers are excellent! Never crowded in restaurant section in Barack. Looks like a take out fast food place from Main St., but worth going in, sitting down and enjoying an authentic well prepared full meal. Salad was fresh and delicious. A wonderful change from...boardwalk hunk food!More
This is a very small casual restaurant - and one that I think is overrated. Four of us had dinner there and were surprised at the setting - and not in a pleasant way. Although the Baklava was pretty good. There was nothing special about...the food - and there was nothing particularly bad about it either. Prices are reasonable, especially given its location. If it was not located just steps from the Rehoboth Boardwalk I don’t think it would survive.More
While the service was good the food was just not worth eating! Everything that my wife and I had was manufactured off site and lacked any authentic taste. The falafel was pasty and over spiced, the mint tea was a peppermint tea bag and had...no depth in flavor and to make things worse the charge for a pita bread that should accompany falafel or hummus was just ridiculous! We will never return to this restaurant again ever!!!!!!!!More
Went here for dinner at about 7:30p on a Thursday and there was still plenty of tables available. In the front is the area for takeout and walk-ins, while the back is the sit-down restaurant portion. Service was fine. Nothing special nor bad. I ordered...the Grilled Kofte Kabob which was a little bland with the meat. Kind of tasted like a seasonless burger patty. The rice was good. My wife ordered the Musaka and it was very flavorful. This is a casual restaurant and suitable for a quick sit-down dinner or lunch. A little bit on the expensive side for what you're getting.More
My son just had a Gyro to go as takeout. He liked it and gave me a bite. The cucumbers sauce was good. I recommend the Gyro.
This a restaurant run by not so friendly owners. Staff is nice but food is not so good. We order 4 different food platters but all of them tasted the same. Food is expensive and has no flavor. They charge you a lot for food...but water and other drinks are served in plastic glass. Not recommended.More
The food was decent. There was 4 of us and only about 6 other parties in the restaurant. Everybody got their food before us even though we had ordered before them. Owner is taking the orders and seems all over the place but nice and...friendly. He brought out our appetizer twice and forgot our drinks. He never checked in on us and we had to flag him or somebody else down when we needed something. The restaurant is probably better for a carry out type of scenario as the food was good. Unfortunately the place and the service bring the overall experience down. Shame because there is a lot of potential with that restaurant. We would not return unless we were doing carry out. The restaurant seems a little darks and dingy for my taste.More
Ordered 8 lunches through DoorDash for delivery. Order arrived promptly and after opening it, we see that the two falafel wraps have tzatziki sauce them on when the DoorDash menu says tahini sauce. I call Semra’s and try to explain them the situation and they...start arguing with me that the falafel wraps come with tzatziki sauce. I tell them that’s not what the menu says. They say they are looking at the menu and it MOST DEFINITELY says tzatziki sauce. I then get a very belligerent “What do you want me to do about it?” Well, I want you to make it like the menu reads with tahini sauce. I go back to the restaurant to pick them up (which has now defeated the entire purpose of delivery and they continue to argue with me that I’m wrong. I show them the DoorDash menu and they tell that it’s wrong. “Look at our website they tell me.” I tell them perhaps we are both correct. I get my remade wraps and go home. When I get home and start discussing how rude the restaurant owner and his help were to me, and I start thinking about it more, it occurs to me - there is slim to no chance that if the menu creation on DoorDash is not under the restaurant’s control, that some DoorDash employee substituted tahini for tzatziki on their own. And low and behold, I look at Semra’s online menu on THEIR own website and it says tahini sauce! NEVER have I been treated so rudely by a restaurant where they made a mistake in preparing the food, with the error putting two diners at risk of a food allergy, and then having to argue with them about getting it remade the correct way. And then they flat out lie about what their menu says. As for the food, it was average. 3 stars at best, less the deduction for having to argue with them to make the sandwiches as the menu reads.More
Wonderful Turkish food. This place makes good Greek food also.i love their gyros. Go there and then stroll the Rehobeth boardwalk.
