This was our third year eating here… it is now one of the restaurants we put in our list! Very good food and service. Nice to able to eat inside or outside.

Our friends took us here for dinner. It was delicious!! Not a big menu but all four of us ordered something different and all of us were pleased with the food. The service was amazing!! It's in a good location. Definitely recommend

Out of the 8 of us who ate here, only 1 person that it was worth it. The cheese plate was good, but that was about it. The rest was either okay or, frankly, not that good, particularly in light of the glowing reviews this...place seemed to have. The potatoes were not fully cooked; the artisanal sausage was nothing more than a hamburger with fennel, the oatmeal bowl was pretty bland, and the coffee was meh. Interestingly, we ordered iced coffee and were brought a regular cup of coffee and a glass with ice; we had to pour it ourselves, which seemed strange for a place that was definitely on the pricier side of brunch.More

We made a 1:00 reservation for inside. Once in town we could see parking was going to be an issue so we dropped off 1 of our party of 3 to check in for the reservation we arrived exactly at 1:00 pm. It took us...17 minutes to find parking and walk back to the restaurant. When we arrived they had seated our friend outside. After walking several blocks we were hot and very politely asked if we could move inside since that was what our reservation was for. They said no problem and moved us right away. In the 17 minutes our friend was waiting someone gave her water and never returned. We waited over 40 minutes after being seated inside and No One greeted us. Servers walked by us several times with no sense of urgency the restaurant was steady but not overwhelmed. What has always been a staple for us is now at the bottow of our go to list. Two of us are former restaurant workers and frequent diners, there was no excuse. Not sure if this is a new ownership issue but I was very disappointed that a long time favorite restaurant so seriously dissappointed. After waiting over 40 minutes we left. Not sure if I'll be back.More

Excellent experience, great food, great service! Sat outside on their back porch, off the street and secluded enough to block out any noises from the street. The chef truly is an artist as advertised!

This is a classic for old rehoboth, gorgeous bar and the food is best on the east coast, small menu, and attention to detail, also Sunday brunch is incredible. Enjoy

From appetizers to desserts - everything was over the top amazing! Rabbit and duck were absolutely delicious. Presentation was excellent. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Rehoboth and I highly recommend it, especially for a nice night. Outdoor ambience is beautiful!

We enjoyed cocktails and a great meal at the Back Porch. The pear martini was delicious! We chose the veal tenderloin and the halibut for our entrees. Both were excellent. The service was attentive and pleasant. We will definitely return for another meal!

A year ago I waxed eloquent about the food, service, and wine list. This time we came with more people . . . MORE SHARING! Everyone got an app and a main, and one or two could somehow order and actually eat dessert. It's not...that the portions are huge, although they are more than ample: It's just that everyone cleaned his or her plate, and was furtively eying others'. The menu is varied and most of the offerings are unique and fabulous. We ate here on a Friday night; great wine at a reasonable price; great apps, mains, and desserts; good-quality ingredients beautifully prepared and presented; great service; delightful atmosphere. For me, this is the best Rehoboth has to offer. Which is why we all returned Thursday night, our departure eve.More

We loved the Back Porch Cafe! Unpretentious yet super delicious cuisine and great friendly service! Like dining in your own kitchen or dining room at home. Comfy wooden chairs and tables, table clothes not needed. Large, expansive windows so you do not feel confined. Tables...are spread apart nicely. Both of our Apps and Mains were very, very GOOD! Service was exemplary! We highly recommend Back Porch Cafe and will dine here when we revisit Rehoboth Beach again.More

We stumbled in here on one of the first nights, maybe THE first night, they were opening up after Covid-19 and winter. Dimitri, the host, said something about the few reservations made versus the swarm of people that actually arrived. I think they only had...like 3 people holding down the fort but they were happy to be open and served like pros! The atmosphere is lovely and though I think they were swamped, you couldn't tell. We were so relaxed and they did not rush anyone at all. We ate upstairs outside under a tree with a heater and string lights. They kept our waters filled and the food on our plates was absolutely obliterated! We ate every morsel of everything served! We had lentil meatballs, halibut and beef filet (?). The beef was perfect! The desserts were something dark chocolate and something fruity. Both delicious. This was the best meal on our 12 day road trip!More
