Nicola's has great pizza, but my favorite is the "Nico-boli", their take on a Stromboli. It had ground beef or turkey, sauce, cheese and any pizza topping you'd like inside the wonderful folded pizza dough. It's not too big or too small...just right for dinner...after a day on the beach. The crushes are really good here too. Pizza and beer or a Nico-boli with a Crush. Either way, it's SOOO good!More

Went here based on Trip Advisor reviews and was somewhat underwhelmed. Pizza was ok, not great. Sauce was outstanding but the dough was too soft - i.e. not chewy, and kind of tasteless. Other toppings were good but still couldn’t overcome the dough. Service was...pretty good although the server could have told us that the salads were big enough to share (as a matter of fact they come with two bowls). It probably mentioned that in the menu, but still, would’ve been nice to know beforehand and not waste so much food. All in all, good experience but if you’re looking for great pizza not the place to go.More

We visit Nicola each year we vacation in Rehoboth Beach. Their pizza and salad make for a tasty and easy dinner or lunch. This year we ordered carry out for lunch. Pick up is at their location on Rehoboth Ave, not First St. There is...a window for pick up orders. The food was ready in about 15 minutes and the server was friendly.More

We were so happy we could make our beach trip to rehoboth this year once phase 2 reopening happened! Any trip to rehoboth would not be complete without Nicola and a Nicoboli! So much better than Grotto etc. Our server, Kristen B, was awesome with...any and all requests as well as being friendly and welcoming. Cant understand some of these negative reviews, this place is wonderful!! Thank you Nicola Pizza!!More

After a few days in the area, we stopped into this local pizza spot. The hostess was pleasant and we were greeted at our table fairly quickly. When we asked for a few minutes to look at the menu, apparently our waitress forgot about us....We saw the waitress talking with other restaurant staff and walking around, but she never came back for us. We tried getting the attention of a few other waitresses but we ended up having to approach the cashier to ask for a server. A different waitress quickly came over and apologized that the other waitress had to use the restroom. We ordered a pizza and salad with our drinks. The salad came out and was substantial and tasty for the price. Easily shareable for the 4 of us to divide between us. Our original waitress then brought the pizza and left a crumbled receipt. The pizza was truly just okay. We've had better many times. The crust tasted pre made and it was dripping in grease. Our waitress never came back to check on us. It was then that I realized the crumbled receipt was our check for us to bring to the register to pay. There was no check-in while eating. There was no thank you for coming. Very little basic waitress skills demonstrated. Disappointed.More

I don't like the sweet sauce--but I know people who LOVE it. There is nothing wrong with this place. The people are nice. But if you are used to a New York style of pizza sauce, you will be disappointed. Their Nicoboli is tasty and...well cooked, but, again, if you like a savory/spicy marinara to dip it in, you won't like it. On the other hand, if you are someone who likes sweet sauce, and I mean sugar sweet, then you will probably love it. I can't make a fair judgement on this restaurant because there are different styles of marinara sauce, and people usually like the one we're raised on. I hear that the owners are community minded and do a lot for the area, and that means something. It's worth it to go and try it at least once.More

So we have been working our way around the area and when it has no lack of pizza spots, it is hard to find GOOD pizza! The local Facebook groups have discussions on what place is best and this one did rank higher in the...bulk. Good news is they are open late, have a big menu and large eat in dining room. We ordered takeout this time, a White just so we can do and apples to apples comparison. Well, the cheese was not the worst but not interesting, no fontina I’m sorry to say and the crust was not crispy with any char such as you get when they have a hot oven. Suspect they just have some average run of the mill oven, no wood. Other wacky thing, they have two locations that are not far apart and you can order wherever but carry out is from the N 1st Street location. Nice lady ran over to get our pie but just FYI.More

Their pizza is good and they have a great deal on Sunday's for football. Large pizza only $10. Lots of other specials,. I also had a tossed salad advertised as Romaine lettuce but barely there. My salad was mostly cut up iceberg lettuce cores. Loaded...with cheese. Not saying iceberg isn't good but they should not advertise Romaine. Also had the chili cheese fries. Fries are good (Thrasher style) but the stuff on top is messy. Recommend getting stuff on the side. Skip the chili. Service excellent, staff friendly. Enjoyed ourselves.More

About 8 pm we stopped for pizza. They were very friendly and took our order for a personal pan pizza and a nicoboli. The pizza had good flavor but the nicoboli was burger and cheese inside dough. The flavor was just ok and it was...very messy to eat. We will try another pizza place next time.More
