I had been wanting Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna, and we found it while taking my daughter and boyfriend out to dinner. The tuna was very good. My daughter ordered a stuffed pumpkin chicken bowl, which she enjoyed. The two other entrees were a vegetarian burger and a J ager Schnitzel which were deemed average.

Stopped here for lunch today and will stop here again! We tried the Kennett Square mushroom soup with portabello mushroom bacon--amazing--which accompanied the Green Goddess sandwich (avocado, muenster, tomato, bean sprouts, lettuce on wheat) and the tuna poke--a small dish with ahi tuna in a relish of cucumbers, red onion, corn, and edamame with wonton chips. Everything was delicious. The... More

Excellent food and well prepared. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the setting. The location was enjoyable and well traveled by the University students.

Whenever I want something a "little different" for lunch, I tend to go to Home Grown. There are a number of sandwich and salad options although I tend to order the wrap with brie, apples and nuts complemented with either tuna or chicken. Vegetarians and vegans will also find a range of options.

We have been dining at Home Grown for years. We went out for our anniversary on September 13th and the menu had changed, but was very good. We had the hummus to start, which was delicious. My husband had the Bam Bam bowl which was very tasty and I had the Pasta Primavera, both of which we requested vegan, which... More

What a wonderful experience! My husband and I booked our pre-wedding dinner AND our reception catering through Home Grown, and we couldn't be happier with the results. We had some very detailed dietary requirements, and Sasha (Home Grown's owner) was SUPER caring and careful in making sure we got what we needed, going to the extent of preparing special plates... Four of us stopped into HomeGrown during Parents' Weekend. We were very impressed with the unique menu choices. The veggie burger was fabulous as well as the Buffalo cauliflower wings.

I loved this place! They have something for everyone. My daughter is vegetarian & they had a ton of options for vegans & vegetarians as well as regular dishes. The buffalo cauliflower was amazing! Can't wait to have it again!

Being a local, good vegan restaurants are rare and hard to come by. Homegrown is one of few restaurants that have vegan protein substitutes other than Asian places, so of course it would be a place I like to dine. Tonight was the last straw, the third time non vegan food has tried to be passed off as vegan food!... More
