This restaurant has a dining side which is blocked from the pub side which makes it great for families. We had the lobster mac, lasagna mac, mahi tacos, crab fries and the sampler appetizer. All was delicious. You could tell everything was fresh. Their sauce on the wings is unique and very tasty. The waitress Mimi was on top of... More

Stopped in before an event at UD. I've had the lobster Mac and cheese numerous times but tonight was just a beer and seared ahi tuna. On the plate w tuna was spinach and a type of coleslaw. Tuna had a wasabi cream sauce which was ok but not the usual wasabi paste that burns your nostrils. Still a great... More

Mad macs delivers good mac n cheese but the burger is your best bet. Had the all American and it was seasoned perfectly, obviously quality meat. Served exactly how I requested which almost never happens at other restaurants. Onion rings and fries also good.

Got in there a little after noon on a work day with some clients. The place was fairly filled. Seated quickly and a server promptly came over. They have quite an eclectic menu and we all stayed with the burgers. The food came out in an appropriate time given the crowd. All of the burgers were done to order and... More

I received a coupon offer on-line and, as instructed, printed it and brought it to the restaurant. I placed in on the table where it was easily readable to the wait person prior to ordering. When the bill came, no discount was given. When I asked the manager why not, he informed me that they do not accept coupons from... More

In town for a concert at the University of Delaware and wanted to check out a local place. The brat Mac and the pizza Mac were great. The appatizer was a different story... We really didn't care for some of the items. The restaurant was very nice and the staff was friendly.

My brother and I went for the Mac and cheese. The service was slow, over 30 minutes waiting just for two entrees. The waitress never checked on is during the wait period for the food. Then the food came out lukewarm. Overall, a let down. Not a great experience. The food didn't even taste that good once t came out.... More

Close to U of D campus and ample parking around place. They serve variations on Mac & Cheese in a crock for a good price. I took my kids here while driving through the campus. Counted over 20 TV's in the bar area. I was only there for lunch midweek and not too crowded but who thought of the idea... More

Never thought Mac and Cheese could be so versatile. Good selection of beers too. Great as an alternative to a tavern or bar.

Happy hour with half price appetizers is great. Boneless wings in secret sauce and ahi tuna are great. Great selection of beers and try the ovenproof margarita but have a designated driver. All food is fresh, they make their own Guacamole. Mac and cheese is there forte and while they are good it not my favorite. Always a good time.... More

Description
Our property boasts a comfort zone with a unique, casual dining experience, appropriate for all ages, but most importantly, simply delicious mac and cheese. Matildas & Mad Macs will be offering a mouthwatering selection of creamy and browned to perfection mac and cheese. The mac is on center stage, but not to be missed is the decadent hand-formed burgers, plump juicy wings and the homemade soups. Menu highlights include the pizza mac, with fresh mozzarella, roasted tomatoes, roasted garlic, and fresh basil… Yum! The lobster mac, with tender chunks of fresh lobster, cognac, tarragon and mascarpone cheese… Ridiculous! The portobello mac, with roasted portobello, goat cheese, mozzarella and a touch of truffle oil… Yes this really happens... The signature burger, hand formed, fire grilled, and on a baked fresh bun. Side selections include generous portions of seasoned fries paired with our white cheddar cheese sauce. Perfection…. For desserts, how about a red-velvet cake with cream cheese frosting; and for adults, may we suggest a drunken milkshake. Sorry kids 21 and older only.Togo is Unique at Matildas & Mad Macs. Ready to-go hot or cold mad-macs is the perfect way to fill your belly at your home or office. Microwavable and environmentally safe prepared dishes heat in seconds and are fun for the whole family. Don’t order pizza, order pizza mac!!! Available in regular, wheat and whole grain macaroni.Once you're properly fueled with some of our signature dishes, there's plenty of entertainment to keep the fun going, from karaoke on Mondays and Saturdays, to Texas hold'em poker on Wednesdays and trivia on Thursdays. We also provide live entertainment every Friday night! Let the fun begin…
