I travel a lot and look for authentic creole/cajun cuisine everywhere i go and I'm always disappointed. Nora Lee's did not disappoint!!! They make their gumbo with a delicious rue and their po boys remind me of home in New Orleans. I am definitely coming back before i leave Delaware!!! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great!

Great place for music, food, and drinks! Nice and varied cocktail menu and they have a great happy hour too. The food specially the gumbo is awesome. Definitely go for some of their New Orleans specialities!

Have not had bad meal yet. Wait staff is attentive and friendly. Prices are reasonable. Love to stop in when I'm in Old New Castle.

If you like the tastes of New Orleans, you cannot go wrong with Nora Lee's. This find of a gem in Old New Castle County serves up delectable Cajun and Creole food. The beverages are awesome and you cannot beat the ambience or the location.

Cajun food? Yep a nice variety of nawlins favorites. Prompt friendly service but no crawfish etouffee! Blackened fish was cooked well, nice flavor not overpowering. Mashed taters had a little "kick" and were creamy. Worth a second visit.

I always love visiting Old Newcastle. Found this wonderful New Orleans style restaurant. The food was delicious. My hubby had the meatloaf, he said it was so good. I had the blackened catfish and alligator jambalaya. First time I ever had alligator and it was delicious. Everything is made to order. The desserts were yummy. The server was very friendly.... We have visited Nora Lee's several times when in Delaware and have always had a good meal. The food is delicious, with the lobster ravioli bring a particular standout. Portions tend to be generous, too. We have used a Groupon on several occasions and haven't had a problem. Definitely make a reservation on the weekend - it fills up fast... More

One of Old New Castles hidden gems. There's times where you do not want to settle for a chain restaurant in Delaware. Nora Lees has some great Cajun dishes and some decor to feel like you're actually down south. The food is phenomenal and the atmosphere is even better. On weekends they have live bands that are nice sounding and... More

I wanted to find a Sunday lunch place and this fit the bill! New Orleans style cuisine and atmosphere with great homemade Cajun style food..had crawfish bisque which was delish and chicken jambalaya, not too spicy and lots of chicken and other ingredients. Big portions and homemade desserts like bourbon pecan pie and death by chocolate! Great, friendly service and... More
