Crab cakes have hardly any filler! If you like a lot of crab and little filler, this is your place for crab cakes! I like that you can eat in, carry out, or buy crab cakes to cook at home!

Came here based on the reviews. Plus side: staff is very friendly and service is prompt. Side salad was good, bleu cheese dressing was not bad. Facility is clean and pleasant. Disappointing side: Food was very overpriced for the portions. Crabby fries were steak fries...with, I guess it was a crab and cream cheese topping, and Old Bay Seasoning. Not horrible, but more fries and cream cheese, not sure i ever had any crab meat. The catfish platter...well it comes with a side and a side salad. Side salad was not bad, nice sized. Typical baked potato, at least it wasn’t a new potato. The catfish...just no. One medium fillet that was breaded in crab cake mix (no crab, just the filler part). Tasted a lot better with the tarter sauce. Platter was $17.99. I was expecting four decent sized fillets at least for that price. I guess since it was served on an oval plate, that made it a platter, because it is not the portion size by any means.More
Hole-in-the-wall family-operated sandwich shop specializing in crab cakes. Not that easy to find - it's in the shopping center with the Acme grocery store, but worth getting off the expressway.. The crab cakes are very good, but not quite up to excellent level - say...B/B+ level. They include some breading as a binder and are prepared broiled; fried is not an option. However, prices are very reasonable and the staff is amazingly nice. Take-out prepared and to cook at home are options.More
Yesterday I stopped and grabbed two crabcake sandwiches - "awesome" - not sure if name and management has changed from first business which I believed was called something like "famous crabcakes...." the crabcakes were so salty i did not go back - UNTIL yesterday.. first,...I noticed "different name" - so I tried and believe me, you will not go wrong ordering these delicious, lump crabcakes... I will definitely be returning.More
We stopped in for lunch found the waitresses very friendly (they could be sisters). My wife had the crab cake platter with coleslaw, and I had the softshell crap platter also with coleslaw. The crab cake was great the coleslaw was nice and creamy. The...softshell crab was cooked perfectly. We were pleased with everything and would come again.More
This was our first time coming here. We ordered the tomato pie (which was the best we ever had, blackened chicken fries (amazing), crab cakes (some shells but not bad), cream of crab soup (the worst we ever had. It had an orange greasy film...on top and an extremely strong taste of beer), Mac n cheese (very bland) and cole slaw (pretty good). We will be back for more tomato pie and fries.More
Told my friend about the place and how I had been there about a year and half ago check reviews to see that it was still good when I noticed the name had changed and there was a few recent bad reviews but decided to...go see for our self anyway if it was as good as I remember and sure enough they didnt disappoint..great crab cakes yummy crabby sauce and genuinely nice people !! Keep up the good works!!!More
We usually buy their crab cakes to go and cook them at home, but last week we were running errands and stopped to eat. Service is always very pleasant with never a long wait. And eating in was no different. We ordered crab cakes -...a 4oz and a 6 oz, and both of us had the baked potatoes. Their crab cakes are ALWAYS very good! Definitely among the better crab cakes around. Their baked potatoes are very good and is served with a very tasty sour cream. All in all, a very good meal at a very reasonable price!More
Stopped in this shop for a quick bite to eat. Went right for the crab cake menu. They have three different sized crab cakes. We ordered the 6 oz crab cake which came with potato chips in a pickle. We added a side of potato...salad and macaroni salad along with their drink. Altogether came out to $35, but it was really good. May skip the sides next time, because they drove the price up $4 per side. The restaurant was very clean, and the food can be either eaten there, or taken out and you can cook it at home or eat it at home. We preferred to eat it there while it was hot. They also have other menu items like pizza. Definitely will go back.More
This was my first time here and I drove in to the shopping center looking for a place for lunch. I ordered a crabcake sandwich on a roll with a bag of chips and soda. The food was delicious and the service excellent. They also...have different size crabcakea to take home.More
Take out precooked cakes with simple and easy to follow directions for baking. Take along a couple sides or prepare your own. Dishes other than crab cakes available. Primarily a take out but several tables available if you choose to eat in.
I've eaten here several times and will keep coming back because the food is good, reasonably priced, the staff is friendly and helpful and the restaurant is clean with nice simple decor. I've had crab cakes several times at the restaurant and I've also picked...up crab cakes to take home and cook for dinner. I'm a Maryland raised crab snob and I give these crab cakes the highest rating. They are full of lump crab meat and I get mine with crab sauce (I think that's what it's called) and they're delicious. The sides were good as well. One thing to note if you've not been to this restaurant is that it has more of a take out feel. There is seating but it's a smaller place and it's come as you are, not fancy at all. I highly recommend giving this place a try and guarantee you'll keep going back for more!More
My husband discovered this restaurant one day when he stopped into one of the stores in the shopping center. It's tucked away on the far end, but he saw the word "crab" and knew he had to investigate for me. I was born and raised...in Delaware and like a lot of us from around here, I love crabcakes. We have been in for dinner a few times and have always left happy. The crabcakes come in small, medium and large and they are packed with fresh lump crab meat. You can have them plain, in a sandwich, over fries or on a soft pretzel. Some variations come smothered in cheese. The portions are generous and best of all, the prices are reasonable. Another thing I really like is their baked onion rings. They are not crunchy like fried, but they are still delicious and of course a somewhat healthier choice. Each time we've been in, the ladies behind the counter have been very friendly and helpful. The menu is huge, but they can answer all your questions. If you prefer, you can order take-out and eat at home, which is nice too.More
My wife like the 6oz crab cake platter, my go to choice is the double crab in mushroom caps platter, comes with a side and a salad for platters. The crab stuffing is marvelous. We like to order for pick up and travel 20 miles...each way to pick up. On Super Bowl Sunday I ordered and went up and got our platters and when I got home I was not given four crab cake mushroom caps only 2. I called to complain and the manager insisted on coming by my house and delivering my two missing mushroom caps. I thought that was over and above for customer service. When we think take out, this is at top of the list when we want something extra special.More
We couldn't believe the size of the pretzel or how much crab was on it!°great for parties! Definitely would go again
