Had a drink here while roaming around downtown Lewes. Quaint design and good service. Moscow mule was alright.

Exceptional food, way better than typical Pub food. Upscale Atmosphere, great place for a Romantic date or special occasion... who would have thought with a name like Rose & Crown... Five Roses no Thorns!

Friendly and great food While some restaurants in Lewes have lines, this place is as good and more accesible Food is good and reasonably priced

Lots of mixed reviews for the Rose and Crown so we were really pleased to have a great experience here. An outstanding weather weekend for early November brought the crowds out in the Lewes/Rehoboth/Dewey Beach area. Rose and Crown was almost empty for a Friday...afternoon lunch, great for us, probably not so much for the owners. Social distancing was easy, the bartender was friendly and well informed about the menu choices. We each had different sandwiches, from chicken to pulled pork sliders to crab cake. All were pronounced excellent. It's a pub-like atmosphere, lots of dark wood, and some fun booths and tables. Definitely worth a visit.More

My husband had the fish and chips which was good but enough for two people. I had the chicken potpie which was delicious. It was quiet when we were there. They had every other table blocked off for social distancing.

I stopped in for a light dinner. Service was good and the atmosphere was fine - intended to be a British pub. My draft beer was super cheap and the 'appetizer" of salmon tacos was entree sized. If I were to return I would order...something different. Including pineapple was a great touch, but there was so much mayonnaise like sauce drizzle that I would never recognize this as blackened salmon if the menu had not stated itMore

This is on the ground floor of the Hotel Rodney, not on the 2nd st side. Very typical pub food and nice people working there. Popular with locals and tourists. Casual dress, casual fare.

We ordered takeout for 4 adults and 2 children and we were all happy with our meals. They were packed well and we each thought the food was exceptional.

Located on the first floor of the Hotel Rodney, this restaurant/bar is fashioned after an authentic British Pub, we found it to be warm and welcoming. They offer a wide variety of menu choices here that are well priced for most diners. There is a...decent selection of draft beers on tap within the full bar. Food is excellent quality and well portioned. We dined on a Chicken and Bacon Quesadilla that was very tasty. Calamari is a good choice if you're craving delicious squid. All and all, a great place to visit and enjoy a decent lunch or dinner.More
