This is on the ground floor of the Hotel Rodney, not on the 2nd st side. Very typical pub food and nice people working there. Popular with locals and tourists. Casual dress, casual fare.

We ordered takeout for 4 adults and 2 children and we were all happy with our meals. They were packed well and we each thought the food was exceptional.

Located on the first floor of the Hotel Rodney, this restaurant/bar is fashioned after an authentic British Pub, we found it to be warm and welcoming. They offer a wide variety of menu choices here that are well priced for most diners. There is a...decent selection of draft beers on tap within the full bar. Food is excellent quality and well portioned. We dined on a Chicken and Bacon Quesadilla that was very tasty. Calamari is a good choice if you're craving delicious squid. All and all, a great place to visit and enjoy a decent lunch or dinner.More

There were 5 of us and everyone enjoyed their meals. I love a good Shepherd's Pie and this one was flaky and loaded with goodies. I will definitely go back!

A beautiful bar environment with gorgeous wood floors and ceiling, terrific lighting. Truly a wonderful space to enjoy drinks and conversation in a beautiful environment. But the best part of the Rose & Crown is the staff. Assistant GM Franny was a delight. Kind, smart,...funny, and accommodating on a busy Valentine's Day weekend. We love friendly people and that is what sets the Rose and Crown apart. Kudos to all the staff and to Franny for going above and beyond.More

We come here for good happy hour deals while we wait for our table at Agave. The drinks are good. Some of the waiters are better than others.

We had a late lunch and were not looking for a large, heavy meal. We each ordered a Guiness, a cup of tomato soup and a half of a grilled cheese sandwich. Both the soup and the grilled cheese were excellent. It was all that...we could eat and drink after our late lunch. We decided that we would return to the Rose & Crown soon to try a full meal of something else from the menu.More

Enjoyed wiskey sours and Guinness stout at this authentic British Pub in downtown Lewes. Also enjoyed the calamari appetizer and the pot roast and mac and cheese entrees. Great service and maby pub favorites on the menu. Recommended if your looking for good pub food...in Lewes.More

The Rose & Crown is a pub in the Rodney Hotel. It’s right in the center of Lewes and offers a great ambiance. In particular, I like the updated decor in an older building. It works well and is somewhat unique in the Lewes/Rehoboth area....I went for dinner last night. I sat at the bar and ordered a glass of wine and a Crown Burger. The bartender was very friendly and made sure that I had everything I needed. I really enjoyed sitting there. The burger was excellent; just what I wanted. I will definitely go back.More

Great food and good service. The bartender was friendly and the restaurant’s fish and chips were the best in town!
