I come in once a year and always feel like family. Superb food for dine in or take out. Parking can be a bit of a challenge but don't let that discourage you from dining here. Plus excellent choices of Italian cheeses.

When staying in Rehoboth we took a day trip to walk around Lewes and happened upon this restaurant. As we were seated we saw another table receiving their sandwiches and both the husband and I were sold on ordering sandwiches as well. Great portion size for the price. Awesome bread (which makes a sandwich in my opinion). I had chicken... More

Great menu with some unusual Italian sandwitch selections. Nice pour on the vino. A little noisy, but we'll go back

We have been to their Bethany restaurant but the Lewes location is much bigger. Stopped in for antipasto, it was so delicious. Going to try Rehoboth location.

We went here on a recent Friday night. It was about 84 degrees outside and at least that on the inside. We had the Arancini and a lamb sausage appetizer. They were both very good. The Arancini was the size of a baseball which was a little odd and it had peas in it which was even more odd. I... More

Hey Robert - Yup - I was there with my wife that Friday night - air conditioning went out. Definitely could affect taste/presentation of certain dishes. And of course Mr. Murphy's law says that if things are to go wrong, they will go wrong at just the perfect time. Wish you had connected with our manager on duty - if/when... More

This restaurant had good food, and courteous and fast service. Drinks were kept full. It was a very hot day and the AC could not quite keep the heat down, also it's very noisy, no soft surfaces anywhere. BUT... The food was very good. My husband had the meatball Parmesan sub. He took half home, I had the caprese salad... More

Stopped in tonight after happy hour and attempted to order a pizza to take home. Was told by the guy at the counter that he might not be able to do that. After checking with someone I was told he could not do that for me. It's important to know that my spouse and I have been year round patrons... More

Touch of Italy was born out of two Italian family traditions that trace back to the late 1800's. These two families trace their roots to the beautiful Marche and Abruzzo regions in Central Italy, where one can find rich cultural traditions and recipes passed down from generation to generation. Touch of Italy first opened in the fall of 2010 in Lewes, Delaware and proudly runs five locations in Ocean City, Lewes and Rehoboth Beach, serving fresh items like handmade mozzarella cheese, pasta, pizza, cookies and crispy bread, as well as high quality imported items from Italy. Touch of Italy is proud to bring the Italian tradition to costal Delaware and Maryland, and pay tribute to our ancestors, who imparted to us a love of food and family.
