Quaint Italian market with a small restaurant inside. The best pizza I've had in a while. Great take out sandwhiches. Or just swing by and pick up some yummy home made Italian specialties for dinner.

Dear Canvasback - Thank you for taking the time to write in. Clearly, as you can see from the other reviews on TripAdvisor, and our top ranking in Lewes, your experience is not typical. I should start out by giving the same advice I'd give to anyone going to a fine restaurant - if things aren't perfect, or even not... More

The pizza and salad were delicious, and the food and bar service top notch. We loved eating in such a cozy restaurant, surrounded by wonderful smells and specialty items. We hope to become frequent diners and take-out customers at Taste of Italy.

A very small restaurant with very big tastes!!! If you have a party of 6 or more you may want to try one of their other sites but this one is our favorite. Tables close together creates a friendly atmosphere. The food can't be beat...every dish that we have tried was amazing. The servings are large and we usually are... More

Great genuine New York style Hero sandwiches. Also the oil cured olives, marinated mushrooms, long hots, and shooters in the deli section are by far the best in the area, bar none.

Based upon a server's recommendation the day before, we arrived for dinner around 5PM. We wanted to make sure we didn't have to rush in order to get a jazz concert later that evening. Our server was Alexandra, she was very, very, good. A nice smile and a helpful, friendly, attitude goes a long way. The menu is quite extensive... More

This place had something of a buzz locally as they'd opened up a second and I believe third location nearby. We arrived early 515p or so and it was a good thing because we got a table; folks arriving after us had to wait. The interior is vanilla and its kind of tight, but the tables are positioned in a... My wife was seeing friends, so I dropped in for a light dinner and, being alone, I ate at the small bar. The food was well-prepared and genuine. (We already had a sneak peak the previous day by sampling their pastries from the deli counter.) At my request, the server steered me towards pleasing dishes and offered me a tasty... More

Touch of Italy was born out of two Italian family traditions that trace back to the late 1800's. These two families trace their roots to the beautiful Marche and Abruzzo regions in Central Italy, where one can find rich cultural traditions and recipes passed down from generation to generation. Touch of Italy first opened in the fall of 2010 in Lewes, Delaware and proudly runs five locations in Ocean City, Lewes and Rehoboth Beach, serving fresh items like handmade mozzarella cheese, pasta, pizza, cookies and crispy bread, as well as high quality imported items from Italy. Touch of Italy is proud to bring the Italian tradition to costal Delaware and Maryland, and pay tribute to our ancestors, who imparted to us a love of food and family.
