Been here many times! Consistently good food! Nice atmosphere! Not fine dining but good casual fare! Good service and reasonable prices! A good go to place

I've travelled to Italy several times, and for some extended periods of time so have bit of experience with good Italian food. A Touch of Italy left me feeling I made a great choice for a dinner location, the food serving was huge, too big if anything, but the price was more than reasonable and the qualify the food was... Our visit last year was outstanding. This year we had the bartender waiting on our table, He did all he could to ignore us. Slow saccharine politeness. The food was excellent as before, but we were embarrassed in front of our friends who we raved about this place to and brought to show it off.

Oh no!! Sounds like we did not put our best foot forward. Next time please grab the manager to give constructive feedback about your service. We would have made sure you were not embarrassed. I will pass this along to our Director of Operations to make sure we use this as an opportunity to improve. Thank you. More

My wife and I had a late lunch today. Lovely ambience, extremely helpful and friendly wait staff, and a veggie pizza my wife proclaimed the best ever tasted. Only demerit, chopped salad that was wilted and, surprisingly, rather tasteless. Wine by the glass was quite pleasant. We will be back soon to try some more of their Italian meals!

Thank you for the great review. I'll be sure to pass along the feedback regarding the salad. Nobody likes a wilted salad! Yes, the pizza is delicious. Your wife has great taste. In March our Pizzaiolis placed 3rd, 6th, and 7th in the International Pizza Expo. We look forward to your next visit! More

Stopped in for dinner Saturday May 6 , 2017 for dinner with friends. I had heard many good things but wound up extremely disappointed in the quality of the dinner I ordered. I decided to try the Braciola with pine nuts , raisins , etc. The Braciola tasted as if had been stored for quite a while in the freezer... More

This is an overdue review. I had an unfavorable experience at Touch of Italy in Lewes a few months ago. After an unusually long wait for a take out order, I got home to find a meal that was way below my expectations. Not wanting to drive back, I sent an email to register my complaint. Not only did I... My husband and I ate here twice during May. Nice staff, friendly and helpful. Awesome food - we had gnocci, spaghetti and meatballs, chopped salad, and tried a couple of desserts. The array of possibilities is impressive for Lewes.

What a fantastic discovery. From Ray, the host, to Craig, our server, they created a comfortable, easy atmosphere. Little morsels of sausage and cheese to go with the bread at the beginning to a perfectly cooked stuffed pork chop. This place is like a fine Italian restaurant with a relaxed deli feel. The food way surpassed the pricing. I will... More

Description
Touch of Italy was born out of two Italian family traditions that trace back to the late 1800's. These two families trace their roots to the beautiful Marche and Abruzzo regions in Central Italy, where one can find rich cultural traditions and recipes passed down from generation to generation. Touch of Italy first opened in the fall of 2010 in Lewes, Delaware and proudly runs five locations in Ocean City, Lewes and Rehoboth Beach, serving fresh items like handmade mozzarella cheese, pasta, pizza, cookies and crispy bread, as well as high quality imported items from Italy. Touch of Italy is proud to bring the Italian tradition to costal Delaware and Maryland, and pay tribute to our ancestors, who imparted to us a love of food and family.
