I have came here multiple times in the past couple weeks. Beers and food are very reasonably priced. Food is delicious. I recommend the salmon dish, it was the best out of all our plates. Good service. They have happy hour as-well which has great...discounts for beers.More

We went with another couple after shopping in Lewes. Happy hour food was excellent as were their beer selections. The waiters and waitresses were wonderful. What a cool place! Out back there are games and plenty of seating.

12 of us had dinner on the patio. Our server was great no problem there. Food delicious. I had the encrusted salmon.all appetizers were good. However their "orange crush" was very disappointing and the loud on and off heater was annoying and made conversation difficult....Be sure to sit insideMore

A return visit...I love their Hammerhead IPA! On this trip I had what is called "The Whole Pig"....penne pasta, maybe a white sauce, pork belly, bacon and pulled pork. It was wonderful! Loaded with the pork products and a load of pasta. I could barely...move from the table. And, of course, the beer was cold and fresh. Unfortunately, despite her enthusiasm, the waitress/bartender(?) really didn't know how to make an Old Fashioned. Perhaps hers was the millennial version...and she was SOO proud that she'd made it herself.More

My husband & I had lunch. When we walked in, 5 girls were standing and talking at the front desk and no one acknowledged us. We waited a few minutes and I finally asked, Do we seat ourselves? One girl stopped talking and said, follow...me. I had the steamer pot and was never asked what kind of broth I wanted as there were 3 choices on the menu. I saw this after I ordered and asked another waiter about it, who corrected my order. Our dirty dishes were never cleared from the table (the restaurant was not crowded) and we finally had to asked for our check. When the waitress brought the check, she walked away without picking up any dishes. I'm not a food snob but with so many other restaurants in the area, I would suggest not going there,More

Hubby wanted to swing by for dinner on our way home from the beach (Big Oyster Brewery is right before the road splits in two towards Cape Henlopen and since we were coming in from the state park beach, this was hubby's choice). Hubby had...picked up beer here before but I had never been and was sort of rolling my eyes at having dinner at a brewery with our teens and younger child but I was totally wrong. We had to wait a half hour for a table but the outdoor area has a playscape, ping pong tables, corn hole and comfy cushioned deck furniture and tables. It was an easy wait with all the kids playing and keeping themselves busy. Hubby and I enjoyed a couple of hazys and some ale while enjoying the live music and soon enough our covered patio table was ready. We stuffed ourselves silly with pretzels, beer cheese, pulled pork sandwiches, salads and oysters, all while enjoying the nice weather. After he was done eating, our son ran off with another boy he met and they played ping pong and ran around the playscape. Our teens enjoyed the band and the food and hubby and I enjoyed our beer and meals and the whole atmosphere. Fun was had by all. It's rare to find a place that keeps a whole family entertained, fed and happy but we found it at Big Oyster Brewery. We are definitely coming back!More

We love to go here, whether as a couple or with our adult kids. The atmosphere is consistently pleasant, the happy hour specials are wonderful, the music is on target...we only had one food complaint on a particular visit and they went out of their...way to correct it and made sure we were satisfied. Well done!More

This place is amazing, cool, and fantastic food! If you're in the area, stop and eat here! I had an amazing lobster roll, my husband had the daily pasta special with shrimp, chorizo, spinach, and sun dried tomato. It was so good. Inside and outside...seating. The bathrooms have piped in bird sounds and animal sounds! Haha. The sink was a carved out log! Their seasonal shuckin pumpkin beer was amazing. If you don't have time to eat, grab some swag clothing and cold beer in the cases up front. Wait time was shorter than expected, our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable of the beer and food. Great seafood menu! Wish we lived in the area.More

Big Oyster has a decent offering of food but their beer is really nice - lots of variety and a happy hour 6 nights/week. For food, their steamed clams are my favorite and the crabcakes aren't too bad either, though a little pricey. I have...also gotten the drunken chicken sandwich, the crab dip appteizer and the blackened salmon ceasar salad. We like the outdoor vibe, play some cornhole while you wait for your table, always makes for a fun time. My son and his girlfriend tried the raw oyster shooters - which was memorable, they said :) They can handle large groups and some of the places in town just cannot -- and the beer is really worth a try! We are now seeing their beer in liquor stores outside the Lewes area, which is great - my husband likes their Hammerhead IPA the best. Today I tried their Oyster Stout, brewed with oysters and chocolate!More

Order the special, absolutely horrible, all breading very little flounder…..$25. Showed manager, took off the cost. No apologies, no “can I get you something else”. Don’t order the fried flounder.

Do not recommend. From the constant water dripping on tables from the hvac system, flies and fruit flies buzzing around to the lax staff with their hair down and not tied up or dressed for the job this place had a dirty vibe. When you...leave they have their spent brewers grain in totes waiting to be picked up and it’s leaking all over the parking lot for people to walk in. My Caesar salad sat on top of the dressing which made it so over dressed it was like I was eating just that. My husband had the crab cakes. They were okay but horribly over priced at $44 (market price). After being at other restaurants in the area and having crab I am sorry we chose this place at all.More

The beer is very good ( they also have wine and a full bar) although everything right now leans towards fruitiness. The food menu is surprisingly good for a brew pub with a menu for every palate. You will wait for a table on weekends...but that is pretty short. Kid and dog friendly. Well worth a visit. The only knock is the service. It is SLOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW. That might be a Covid hangover but there appeared to be lots of workers. The kitchen took forever and if you sit in the bar area, the bartenders also wait tables. Other than the service, this is worth multiple trips to hang out with friends and enjoy a flight of delicious beerMore

Kicked off holiday weekend with an afternoon at BOB. from start to finish, a fabulous visit. Greeted upon available and seated immediately, musician was talented and engaging, server was attentive, knew the food and drink menus very well and genuinely interested in us having a...good experience. So many options on menu-steamer pots and the special soft shell crab BLT with Brussels on the side where yummy and well prepared. One of the owners rang up our tshirt purchases after our visit—-love that this locally owned place is hands on and respected by the team. Plus they have outdoor games, parking and a string service team. if you go for a drink, you are bound to spend hours there! We did.More
