I have celiac and multiple food allergies so I’m always hesitant to try a new restaurant. I am so glad I tried Abbot’s. The jambalaya was amazing! My husband liked the lobster mac-n-cheese (not gluten-free) too. We will definitely be back!
We stopped here based on the online reviews and we were not disappointed! We enjoyed a lovely lunch on their deck. Although we enjoy the outdoors, we prefer shaded tables and were thrilled we were able to get a table with an umbrella (there are...not many umbrellas, at least not the day we were there). Our server was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the tuna filet (was the special that day) and recommend the Big Pig. Their fries are boardwalk style. Since moving to Heritage Shores in Bridgeville DE this year we have been looking for fine dining that didn't involve driving over to Lewes or Rehoboth. We heard about Abbott's on Broad Creek and decided to try it on a Saturday night. It was excellent!...My wife had the Short Rib Pot Roast and it was delicious. Tender, tasty and cooked perfectly. I had the Crab Cake dinner and while not the best I ever had, it was very good and a value at $24. We would both order our dinner entrees again. Service from Mike was professional, efficient and friendly. We ate in the indoor dining room but there is a bar area with seating for dinner and a nice deck for outside dining along the water. Only suggestion would be turn down the lights a little for a better atmosphere for evening dining. We will definitely be going back to Abbott's Grill.More

A few nights ago was our third visit to Abbott's on Broad Creek. Each time we were warmly greeted and received great service. The food has been wonderful and we also enjoyed a really tasty dessert with our meals. Really enjoyed my brisket tacos and...margarita!More
Had the seared scallop salad and husband had the Buffalo chicken sandwich both were excellent. Nice sitting on the deck to have our lunch
I had the Mahi Tostados, they were amazing. We have eaten here several times and I believe this was the most flavorful dish they have ever presented to me! Outstanding!!
excellent service & food . shrimp & grits were unique & delicious. Key lime pie was fresh, thin crust & best I’ve had since Key West. Our server made recommendations that were spot on!
We ate their Friday 7/23/21 Waited 45 minutes for our food everything was cold all of it including the coffee We complained to waitress who said the would get us a new order instead put it under one of those red heat lamps for 10...minutes and gave it back still cold and told us it was a new entry i wouldn't go back S pend you hard earned cash else where!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!More
My wife and I had a four-day blowout at a beach in Delaware, and suffered through poor meals throughout. This was the best by far, and I would go back to this place. My wife's Oyster Caesar Salad was quite good, with plump, crisp fried...oysters around the rim, while the salad was fresh with good croutons and a dressing that was tangy and creamy at the same time. My Cajun Meatloaf was great, sort of sweet and well-seasoned, served with sweet brussels and garlic mash-- a bit salty but that was OK (a guilty pleasure, my doctor doesn't have to know!). Ice tea was refreshed promptly, and our server, Jessica G, was great. Two really nice mains and two non-alcoholic drinks were only $38, a real bargain. This is a nice place, obviously a local favorite, and I hope it does well.More
We made a reservation weeks in advance, thinking we were going to have an amazing dinner. Today's experience was so sub-par, the only thing I can compliment was the Key Lime Pie. The service was really poor, the staff was over extended but, none the...less, completely unattentive, in a 90 minute meal, we saw our server ONCE. We couldn't even get a drink refilled. The buffet food came out in stages. When there was one thing available, six other items were not. There was no consistency in anything, other than it was either over cooked, under cooked or cold. It was an inexpensive price to pay ($30 per person) but we still expected a decent meal. NOPE. For the length of time that restaurant has been around, I expected so much more. Will not go back and cannot recommend. I would have rather paid a few bucks more and had a great meal at the beach.More
We decided to return after a great New Years Eve meal that was nothing short of amazing food. The food was good and the service was attentive, but when you charge 2 dollars extra for ice in a 7 dollar whiskey drink for a 9...dollar total is insane. I have decided to go elsewhere from now on.More

We had the three course dinner for $45 and it could not have been better! My husband had crab crusted filet mignon and I had the lamb shank. Talk about melt in your mouth!! Beautiful fresh food!! Had arugula salads and soups- both excellent. We sat outside next to the creek looking at the lovely park. Definitely will come again if passing by.
