The fresh baked treats were wonderful. Coffee was good. We opted for a pour over to be able to try something different and while we knew there would be a wait, we didn’t anticipate waiting over 20 minutes for 2 cups of coffee. We were...told after already waiting about 15 minutes that they didn’t have one that we had ordered. Just felt like we should’ve been informed at the time of ordering. My daughter’s blended coffee drink was way too sweet for her liking so she wasn’t able to finish it. If I came back I would probably just stick to the baked goods and whatever coffee they already have brewing.More

Definitely worth a detour, especially if you like antiques as well as coffee. I see that one review commented on the coffee-making skills of a staff member, and they may or may not all be barristas, but they are friendly and they are willing to...be helpful, and they do make a good cup of coffee! We now visit every time we're over from the UK and really like this little gem...and antiques are SO much cheaper in the States!More

We've passed by this place several dozen times on our way to the beach and finally took the time to stop on our way home from Dewey a couple of weeks ago. The coffee shop is actually inside of a really cute, eclectic shop filled...with all kinds of great finds including new and used items. I got the Cafe Americano and it was delicious and super inexpensive. The coffee shop is located in a very cool antique/consignment shop which I briefly explored. I'll definitely be back, both for the coffee and to check out all of the cool stuff in the store with hubby.More

Some feedback and tips for the baristas... A traditional, Italian espresso, consists of 1 ounce water. Which is also termed “pulled short”. There’s a button on the espresso machine for “short” shots of espresso. A 2 ounce shot is not a double espresso. The term...for a more watered down, 2 ounces of water single shot is “pulled long”. A traditional cappuccino will have 6 ounces of steamed milk and (2) “short” shots of espresso. Using 2 ounces of water per shot does not constitute as a double espresso. That is the Americanized way of making an Italian delicacy. Perhaps taking the time to hear what your customers are saying about their desired order is more reasonable, rather than continuously saying “our shots have 2 ounces of water” over and over, then smirking at the customer, when someone asks for a double shot, made for a traditional cappuccino. I’ve ordered this drink, at numerous cafe’s, roasters and restaurants, for 20 years. I’ve never experienced the response that I received anywhere else, such as the way I was treated at Amity Coffee Roster, when ordering this very common item. Thank you..More

I'm from Seattle. I think I know a little about coffee. I remember when Starbucks had ONE location. So it was surprising how good the coffee was at Amity. It reminded me how good carefully roasted FRESH coffee could be. The staff makes great coffee....The person who roasts the coffee in back knows what they are doing. I can't wait to go back.More

We discovered this place driving from Maryland to our place in Lewes. Great place to stop for coffee and a pastry or cookies. Great Place to browse, they have antiques, and some new merchandise. Nice quality items and we had a relaxing time just drinking...coffee and checking out the store. Great place to take a break.More

Stop and smell the espresso and other goodies baked and brewed at this eclectic little shop of collectibles on the slow-down path to the Delaware beaches. Nice and family-like, they have coffees, teas, desserts, ice creams, and a whole lot of friendly. I recently had...a delicious double espresso with a frothy head that went straight to mine as planned. Added attraction at no extra cost: the place smells great too!More

I really like this place. I love that they roast and brew there own coffee!! Super cool! Also, they have some gluten free treats. I sat in there for an hour plus and did some computer work using there free wifi. The coffee was great...and the environment is truly unique with the antique shop. It's like a coffee shop with the cracker barrel gift shop. So. If you go in here, you might not leave empty handed!More

I stopped here as a half-way point between where I was staying and Ocean City, MD. I happened to find it on Google Maps when I was reviewing my route, otherwise I would have never known about it. I am so glad I discovered it....I got a coffee and a "London Fog" scone. I hate stale and bitter and burnt coffee. This coffee was fresh, hot, fantastic. I normally don't get pastries, but I just had to have one of their "London Fog" scones. I was not disappointed. It was heavenly, especially with the coffee. The two young ladies working there were VERY pleasant and friendly. One of them was the baker and she was so thrilled when I raved about her scone, which is her own recipe including butter, honey, and cinnamon. Again, the coffee was fabulous and they roast it there. I bought a pound of beans to take home with me. There is an area in the back that was perfect for parents with kids. There were two mothers there at the time with their kids. I mentioned how it was the perfect setting for mommies. Next time I go down to OCMD, I will most definitely stop here. By the way, this is not a full breakfast place, but they do have several breakfast items made with eggs, including currently quiche and a dish with bacon, eggs, and sausage gravy (I think). It sounded really good. And they have a selection of homemade pastries.More

This is such a cute place. After browsing through the two story new and old treasures you come to a delicious coffee bar. They have really good Lattes and coffee. Pricing is reasonable. I also purchased a beautiful Spring wreath at the shop. Nice antiques...and other collectibles. I would definitely recommend this unique shop.More

This is a nice little coffee shop with a great variety of coffee drinks at reasonable prices. You can also buy coffee to take home. On my last visit, they had muffins and cookies for sale. In addition, they have a retail section set up...that you can browse through if antiques and crafts are your thing. I will visit again.More
