We were going to spend a day out on Dewey Beach and saw Nick's on the way down. We came up after a couple hours to get some sandwiches. Boy are we glad we did. The Gyros were loaded with meat and just the right amount of lettuce, tomato, onion and sauce. Truly amazing. Also gut the philly cheese steak.... More

Kathy and Nick make the best cheese steaks! I had one at another place last week and it paled in comparison! They fill them with lots of steak that is finally chopped on the grill with lots of cheese to and you get to pick the finishing touches to add. You are never disappointed like at their competition. They Cheese... More

Food was great and cheap. I would recommend the cheese steak. It is centrally located and a great place to grab take out and bring back to your hotel or eat on the beach

It was just as good for lunch as it is after a hard drinking night in Dewey. It doesn't look like much from the outside but if your looking to fill the need for juicey flavorful sandwich you can't go wrong with either pick.

Some of the reviewers that talk about being overpriced obviously have not been here. They have 3 sizes of subs and cheesesteaks - 10" 12" and 20". The prices are basically $9, $10, and $15, give or take a dollar or two, depending on the specific sandwich you order. The Italian sub was excellent, the cheesesteak was absolutely wonderful, and... My family always grabs subs and fries for lunch at Nicks. Good prices. Three size subs. 8" 12" and 18". Nicks has been serving Dewey Beach for as long as I can remember. Also Dairy Queen is in the same parking lot so you can grab dessert while your food is being prepared at Nicks.

This restaurant is informal, has quality meat for their cheese steaks and wonderful, chewy Italian rolls. They come with a large selection of toppings, and the largest size is enough for 2 people. The fries are also good.

The owners are the best in Dewey Beach, Delaware. The father-son-daughter-in-law trio is one that cannot be touched by any other establishment at this beach destination. Nick is the nicest and friendliest person you will ever meet at a restaurant at this beach location. He goes out of his way to make every customer welcomed and accepted. Nick is authentic,... More

This steak is solid. I handed a cashier 10, and he starts to count out all kind of change. I remind him it's a 10 ( at 1:30am) and he thanks me and gives me a free drink. Get home and it is a solid steak + drink and the evening improves (around 2am).
