We have sampled the traditional and the thick crust pizza. Both are excellent. Only ordered carry out.

Pizza was not good. Premade dough. Sauce was very average. Cheap cheese. It’s a lot of Cisco stuff. Salad was average. Nothing special.

Way over-priced, especially for the poor quality of the food. Pizza was lousy. It had a pool of grease on top. There was hardly any sauce and the crust was gritty. I also ordered a chicken parmigiana sub which was disappointing. When I picked it...up the sauce ran out of the sub as it was very thin. What sauce that was left on the sub tasted like watered-down ketchup and had no flavor to it. Scratch Armand's off of my family's list of places to eat.More

I should’ve known this would be a bad experience just from placing my order. The girl who took my order sounded as if she was stoned or just rolled out of bed. I didn’t like that the prices were not posted and I should have...asked but was not told what our total would be. We ordered 3 pasta dishes which included salad. Each dish was $20 which is ridiculous, since the takeout container was no bigger than a Chinese lunch takeout. It was barely half full, and for my husband and teenage son, this was not enough. One of our orders included the wrong pasta and we were never given any dressing for our salads. We had a long day at the beach and wanted easy takeout. It was such a disappointment and a huge waste of $60. Don’t waste your time.More

For many years in the DC area and lately here on the Eastern Shore, I have gladly driven over an hour to savor deep dish Chicago style pizza at this restaurant. It was delicious pizza, just like in Chicago! Unfortunately, within the last six months...(to my knowledge) they have done away with it. They still call it “deep dish” but it is not. Instead it is an average pizza with a little thicker crust. Oh well, Armand’s, you have lost one of most loyal customers. Our server was very nice and friendly there.More

I ordered a deep dish and asked if it was Chicago style, the man on the other end of the phone said yes the deep dish is our Chicago style. He told me it would be ready in 25 min and I asked again if...this is a Chicago deep dish. He assured me it was but I knew it wasn’t going to be what I was hoping for. Nothing special about the pizza, nothing really tasty about it either. Most definitely the worst and most expensive pizza I’ve ever bought.

I would NOT consider this Italian food. Have eaten at the restaurant across courtyard and have NEVER smelled food scents or pizza. This should have been a clue. Pizza has NO FLAVOR. Cardboard crust and bland sauce and grocery store mozzarella. Seriously horrible. Couldn’t even...smell pizza in car when picked up. Wondering when the last time owner has eaten own pizza. We ordered two pizza’s for takeout. Everyone loved it. The crust and sauce was delicious and to me that’s what makes a great pizza! We will order again.

This is a local mainstay and we haven't been for years, but in a pinch we ordered a pizza for carryout. The crust wreaks of being frozen and the flavors were as pedestrian as a store brand frozen pizza. $24 + tip for large 2...topping.More
