Let me start by saying my pizza of choice is a thin crust. Father in law ordered a large and though not a thin crust the pizza was delicious. Cheese was nice and chewy with the right amount of heat with the jalapeños. Price was fair at less than 20 dollars. I would recommend it.

I don't even live in CT anymore but when I stop to visit friends & family I make sure to slide by Wilsons. Pizza is greasy but not to the point where the crust is soggy. The grinders are pretty big and filling. The calzones are pretty good also. They do have dining in if you'd like. Pretty sure it... More

Two colleagues and I went here for a late lunch. We ordered two grinders and one cheeseburger. After placing our order we looked for a clean table....there were none so we picked the least dirty. All food tasted okay...nothing special. However, within an hour of retuning to work all three of us had to rush to the bathroom.

This places has absolutely the Best grinders in town! Located just off highway 91, this restaurant is a great pizza - grinder joint! Prices are very reasonable and the food portion is HUGE! You define my get your money's worth! Parking is plenty, easy and very accessible. Great place to eat-in or take out!

Have been working in the area for years, so my coworkers and I frequently order our lunches here. Pizza is good as long as you don't put a lot of items on it. Just make sure you bring cash I think that they still don't accept debit/credit cards..

This is one of only 2 pizza shops I frequent when I am in Windsor. This place has been around since at least 1970, though in a new location in a former McDonald's. Friendliness is off the charts, The pies are tasty but not cheap - $15 for a medium. I was disappointed to that I couldn''t find a clean... More

I highly recommend their "Wilson special" pizza. The crust is just right, not too thin or too thick, light and crisp. It is loaded with toppings, all of excellent quality. The mozzarella cheese on top was delicious and a generous amount, no need to order extra cheese. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

We were visiting from Florida, coming back "home" after many years. As a matter of fact, this Wilson Pizza Palace location, was once a McDonald's! I had my 1st McD burger there in the early 1960's. The reviews about this place are right on. I had their sausage grinder..yum!
