Continue to Impress

Me after I havent had a meal with you guys in a couple of years and tonight I'm back (don't live here passing thru)and the ingredients are fresh the ideas are the same deliver consistency year in and year out... dont recreate perfection ...I have too many favorites so I go with The California its tasty and a great balance of flavor between the sweet sundried tomatoes and salty flavor of olives...crust is so good you dont realize its pizza crust could be homemade bread.. light flavorful I want the recipe! Lol. If all pizza were like this we could eat it everyday and not get tired of it.

Great Takeout Lunch

It was just a takeout but boy it was perfect. Got a small red potato with bacon and broccoli and while the young lady seemed very busy she got it done very quickly was quite friendly and professional. Tasted as good as ever and ate the entire small pie like i was a kid again. Top notch

Good Pizza

I stopped in here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon to get some takeout pizza. We ordered half red potato and half California. The sauce on the pizza is really good and there are definitely a lot of toppings. They make a heavy pizza, so definitely not a thin crust style. The crust is a little bland but overall its a good pizza. Its also a bit expensive so just keep that in mind.

Disappointing

Came in recently with some friends and was very disappointed to hear that the French Dip sandwich was no longer on the menu. This sandwich is frequently the reason I come in, being one of the best ones around the area. The waitress offered some lame excuses as to why this had happened, none of them convincing. I settled for the Philly cheese steak sandwich, which was not very enjoyable, nor were the onion rings, which were too thickly cut and fried in insufficiently hot oil, which resulted in a sad, soggy, greasy situation. They were not even hot when they arrived. I ordered a cold cut grinder on my last visit- the bread was stale and the sandwich was carelessly made without any attention to balance, ratios, etc.

We removed the french dip sandwich back in march along with other menu items that were not top sellers to help simplify the menu while having shortage of staff so the staff we did have could continue to put out the quality of food our customers expect in a timely manor. We know people enjoyed it and we do plan on bringing it back as a special. As far as the onion rings they should have come out correct the first time but please if you ever feel the food is unsatisfactory your server would have had them remade for you. Feel free to reach out to me first next time so I can be aware of the situation and rectify it for you. John P. Manager

Smart mouth staff can kill it every time

Ordered online with request for curbside delivery. After waiting 10 minutes i went in to pick it up. 4 staff behind counter, ignoring me. When i was finally waited on i pointed out my order and asked why it hadn’t been brought out. Smart mouthed staff member said “well you can carry it out now”. Really? And amazingly this restaurant requests up front tipping. Really?? Food was fair, clearly no reason to return

We are sorry for your wait and inconvenience. Unfortunately, we did not receive a phone call that you were waiting for your curbside order. Being a shared parking lot, unless you pull up in front of the restaurant we are unaware of someone outside unless we are notified of your arrival. Upon the brief conversation we had on the phone and the limited details I was offered, I went back and watched my camera footage. After review, the staff was not ignoring you, they were all busy taking care of their tasks. We are not fortunate enough to be able to keep a sole employee at the counter. Because of where you were positioned in the foyer, it was tough for the kitchen staff to see you so we can understand why you felt you were being ignored. When you were finally noticed, my staff member did his best to help you. He noticed your frustration, and tried to make light of the situation. He apologizes if you misunderstood and took it as him being "smart mouthed". He realizes he did not help the situation and is truly sorry. At your request, we did refund your tip. I understand you were upset on the phone and felt the need to abruptly end the call before I could rectify the situation. Again, we are very sorry. Not worth the time

The waitress got our order wrong from the beginning. We trusted that she could fix it when asked. Needless to say, she could not even pack our salad and bread correctly. We spent over $100. I suggest you spend your money elsewhere. Spoke with tables near us and they felt the same. Willington Pizza is NOT what you read about online. It saddened all of us sitting in the upper level.

Topping slide off pizza

Super bowl Sunday I ordered a small sausage pepper pizza to go. The length of time to cook was fine. I got it home and cut my piece,only to have everything slide off. Quite a mess. People rave about Willington pizza, not me.

Tight space good food

We went on a Friday evening, with a 2 and 4 yr old. Spacing was pretty tight but the staff was very pleasant and the food was good. They only have wine and beer no full bar. We got two pizzas a cheese w light sauce for kids and they ate it all up. Then we ordered one with toppings of our choice- we got grilled chicken on it as one topping but I thought the chicken was dry- other than that I enjoyed the pizza. We got poutine as an app but there wasn’t much for cheese curds I saw just lots of gravy- the fries were fresh cut so that was a plus but I wanted the curds. On other days we have ordered take out grinders and have been pleased with taste and quality there. We will keep them on our list to eat from

Dill pickle pizza A++++

You’ve got to try the dill pickle pizza, ask for it cooked well and cut like a pie. My family was grossed out when I ordered it so we had to order a plain cheese. Well they all tried it and guess which one had no leftovers. They say it’s different then the one at willington Pizza, I’ve never had theirs and hope WP2 keeps doing it their way, it’s excellent and you can’t eat just one slice.😂

Not Just any Pizza House!

First there are two Willington Pizza houses in Willington: the original Willington Pizza and Willington Pizza Too. The only real difference is size and atmosphere. Too is smaller, more low key and slightly off the beaten path (closer to the highway). Same great food just quieter and less crowded. The reason to come here is the award winning pizza. It’s pretty awesome! Yes their pizza is not cheap but they really load on the toppings - almost double what other places put on. The pizza is also a thick crust and really good vs the thin NY style. This is one of the few pizza places where I enjoy the crust almost as much of the pizza. WP offers some pretty interesting pies to choose from: Red Potato Pizza, Taco Pizza, The Widow Maker and my new all-time favorite General Tsao’s Chicken Pizza. It sounds pretty weird but trust me, it is pure deliciousness!! Don’t forget to try some of the local craft beers with your meal also. In addition to being a great restaurant they are very supportive of youth sports in their community.

Really good food, but, overpriced

There are many excellent choices for the types of food they serve and some of their specialty pizza are extremely good. However, their prices are not warranted for what they are if you have already tried the food. As an experience, give it a taste. For your regular pizza shop - many equally good choices with better service and lower prices.

The name of the widow maker lives up to its reputation lol 😂 Great pizza with everything needed on it to fill any hungry belly. The old time atmosphere I like. The downfall is the service there. Have been a couple times now and hesitant on every going back because of the staff being so poor

Phenomenal pizza!!!

Decided to stop here after a long day of traveling. The atmosphere here is calm and welcoming, and our waitress was phenomenal! She was extremely talkative and was a pleasure to have a conversation with. Our Italian Wedding pizza was delicious, just what we needed after a long, tiresome day. I would have loved to stay in the area for one extra day just for the outstanding pizza. Awesome little find, I recommend you do yourself a favor and peep into Willington Pizza Too for a night. You won't be disappointed!

Great variety!

Willington pizza is where we go for specialty pizza night. The cheeseburger pizza is a must try. It may sound odd, but it's just perfect. There are lots of other choices that are not your average either. I like their taco pizza, but it's very spicy. Be ready! We usually do take out, but have eaten in and tried the food also. Very yummy and service with a smile.
