Went to buy lobsters for dinner and had lunch there. Order at counter and probably about 5 minutes wait to order and under 5 minutes to get food. Then went to sitting area in another room to eat. Can get beer wine or Sosa in there at a counter. Most of the food is fried. 1 did have shrimp 12... More

Haven't been here in years, decided to stop for a quick lunch. The place was packed but service was fast and friendly. Ordered at the counter and only waited a couple of minutes for our food. They have a sit down area for those that don't want to take out. Great lunch.

City Fish Market is the best place in Wethersfield to get very fresh fish. they have loyalty cards for discounts . I always check for their weekly specials. Don't know how to cook a particular fish? Just ask and you will receive good advise. The restaurant with the market is rally just a room to take your prepared food. It... More

We live 40 minutes away, but whenever we are closer we always head to City Fish Market to buy the freshest seafood in the area!! My husband loves shrimp so it's a given I always get a couple of pounds for two meals or a company meal! The price on their medium size shrimp is by far the lowest anywhere... More

City Fish is a local icon. It primarily serves restaurants and markets in the central CT area with a wide range of fish, shrimp, scallops, clams, lobster, etc. It has a counter where you purchase fish on a retail basis. But the real gem is their To Go area where they cook a wide range of fish and other goodies... More

Every time I go it's always fresh and good service. You get what you pay for and it's worth every penny. Plus the have a restaurant that serves some good food with a seating area away from the fish market. Whenever I go there it reminds me of the ocean. Everyone that goes always comes back for more. I always... More

Best fried seafood in the area from fish to calamari to scallops and shrimp. Awesome fries. Can take out or eat in attached dining room. The fish counter is fully stocked with all the fresh seafood you can think of with the largest lobsters I have ever seen. Prices a bit higher than grocery store but for the absolute freshness,... Don't be duped! Their lobster rolls are highly over rated and over priced. Save your money. They built a name on quality and fair prices but now are using the name they built to overcharge!

City Fish Market is our family's favorite seafood market and we've been going there for years. They have the freshest lobster and we enjoy picking out the big ones to take home and cook. It's a very busy place and the staff hurries to take and fill orders. The cooked fish is also great and you can eat it in... More

But watch out for the price and the parking lot. This place is often insanely busy as its really the only option in town for fresh seafood which means they can set their prices where ever they want. They do offer coupons for certain days of the week but you can't use it for sale items.
