Great assortment of different sushis and spices. My nephew loves going there. Good service too. Nice place to go.

The quality of the fish is so-so. I used to have a Japanese cooking school in the early 80's in LA and you can always tell if the fish buyer is trying to get away with something if you look at the quality of the uni (sea urchin) It should be light colored, firm, not dark and watery (this is... More
We ordered two different soups, two different appetizers, a fried rice dish and three different entrees. The Shrimp and Watercress Dumplings were quite good. The Chicken Satay was just ok. The Crab and Asparagus soup was also just ok. The Won Ton soup was worth having. The pineapple duck fried rice was just ok. The Mongolian Beef was excellent. The... More
This place rates high in terms of atmosphere, but the freshness of the food seems shaky. A friend of mine was pretty sick to her stomach after eating here recently. The Moo Sho pancakes are pretty amazing though, I have to say. Fine in a pinch, but beware.
We often eat at the Little Kitchen, and it's not bad. My kids love the General Tso's chicken and the steamed dumplings. We also like the sesame chicken. Keep your eye out for a sampler appetizer which is great; sometimes it's on the menu, sometimes it isn't. As for their pad Thai, it's different: the chicken is not sliced but... More
I had just eaten here last week so when I saw the listing number on this site with other Chinese restaurants listed much higher....I was stunned. I know all of these places and 'Little Kitchen' is without a doubt the best Chinese restaurant in Westport. I know I've written other reviews so I don't need to go into specifics except... More
The worst Chinese food I have ever had! Truly horrendous. The gyouza / dumplings had texture of an old tire. I had Chinese food once in Manchester, UK, found an elastic band. That was far better! Actually the elastic band was better than most of the meal from little kitchen! Awful!!!! Don't go!!!
We are visiting family in Norwalk and someone mentioned Asian food. The family we are staying with have been going to Little Kitchen since forever. After last evening those visits are over. Meals were chosen and I have to say their vegetarian soup was great but for me it was all downhill after that. I chose sushi and have never... More
I've been coming to little kitchen for almost 14 years now. Everytime I visit Westport I always make it a point to have lunch here. This last trip I don't think I'll be going out of my way to come back. I'm not sure what's changed but the quality of the food isn't the same anymore. The chicken was chewy... More
Been here several times when I need a take out dinner for the family. A good variety of food - mostly Chinese food for American audiences but still good. Order are accurate and fast. Pricing is a little on the high side but then this is Westport. Will go back often
