Consistent pizza - family owned

Whether you eat in, pick up, or have delivery you will always have a consistent pizza experience. Simple for Monday night football dinner or Friday pizza nights. You can order simple for kids or with toppings that may trend more to adult flavors.

It's hard to screw up pizza....and they don't....but there are just so many better options in the area for really good pizza. On the plus side, they don't skimp on the toppings. But as with many "chain" pizza places, they're obsessed with over-cheesing, and the pizza is pretty thick and doughy. The place is buzzing with activity so apparently, it's popular in town. We visited friends who brought it in as a takeout....next time, I'll offer to bring the pizza.

Not what pizza should be

Don't waste your time. This is not what pizza is supposed to be. Any number of pizza places could make this pizza, it is so nondescript. If you're have a party for teenagers this might be a choice, they probably couldn't care less. So the review is: If you don't care, order Planet Pizza pies.

Don’t go here

I called them first and asked one of the employees if I can order now and pick up later and he said yes , so then I ordered through chow now who was helpful by the way, and I typed in the notes not picking up till 7:30-8 . I get a call from planet pizza and they asked when I’m coming I explained I typed it in message box but it didn’t show up in receipt so I asked can I pick it up later he said it would it would be dry by then . I asked him if he could make another pizza later he refused and also refused to give me my money back it cost me over32. So they basically kept the money.and I’m out 32 dollars

Go to spot for Grandma’s pizza

Skip the online ordering

I tried to call in an order, but when I finally got through, they disconnected the call. I should have gone someplace else, but decided to try the online ordering. You have to pay before you find out how long the order is going to take. They said 45 minutes, which is much longer than I would have waited if I hadn’t already paid. When we arrived for pick up at 45 minutes, only half the order was ready. The pizza took another 45 minutes, which means the first half of the order was cold and soggy.

Great 🍕 Pizza / TV available!

Great taste. I prefer fresh come up one which comes from oven at that moment. Pepperoni 🍕 Pizza was my chance. Very happy with it.

Amazing pizza and great staff. I love the authenticity of the place. I usually take the margarita here. It smells amazing, big portion slice, cheesy, yummy

Good variety, ok food

Nothing here is outstanding, but everything is good and pretty consistent. Service can be a little slow, unless you choose from among the dozens of varieties they have available as slices.

Great Pizza - HUGE Slices

I did a quick carry out of garlic bread and two pieces of pizza - one thick and one thin. The service was friendly and relatively fast - be patient because they are taking the time to warm up the slices for you. I preferred the thin crust pizza but the thick crust was also yummy. Garlic bread came in a large portion and was very good. This was our first time here and we will be back!

They have the chain pizza concept down

Several locations in CT and the pizza is consistently good. If you expect Frank Pepe's thin crust don't come here. Generous toppings and great staff.

A Long Sad litany of Terrible service

The dine-in service in Ridgefield's Planet Pizza is great, but the Westport Planet Pizza is plagued with terrible delivery and poor customer service. The last straw was waiting 90 minutes for a pizza that the store & manager repeatedly said were "around the corner."

Interesting Delivery

At least they will deliver, but many times they have delivered the incorrect pizza or forgotten something. On one strange occasion, they delivered the wrong pizza to our house. We started eating the pizza because it was dinner time for the kind dis and it takes Pizza Planet an hour to correct their mistake. The delivery person was at our door and wanted to switch pizzas. He brought us the correct pizza to us and took the incorrect pizza. The only problem was that our child ate a slice of the incorrect pizza. The driver just took a slice from our correct pizza, put it in the space of the missing slice of the incorrect pizza, and delivered the incorrect pizza to the intended recipient. Problem solved?

Good regular pizza - whole wheat pizza is thin and crispy

Stop here on a regular basis for a quick slice. Counter service with a few booths to sit in. Pizza is good. They have other Italian specialities and sandwiches but I have not tried them.

Pizza crust tastes like cardboard

We have ordered from Planet Pizza multiple times and I keep being struck by how much the pizza smells like the cardboard box that it comes in. Their service is okay and I have no other issues with them but if you are looking for good pizza, look elsewhere.
