A Shoreline Institution!

Lenny & Joe's is a favorite shoreline spot for extremely fresh seafood and great chowder! Service is usually 1st rate, but expect to battle summer tourists for a table. It's casual, very casual. Don't expect high end alcohol or designer drinks. But DO prepare to be absolutely pleased with their... read more

Went for a light late lunch and found the food and service very good as usual. My wife and I shared a shrimp cocktail and a fried veggie platter. The shrimp were very large, firm and delicious. The veggie platter was a mix of deep fried onion rings and zucchini. Very taste and filling.

My cousin invited me for lunch at this place while we were at the beach. There are plenty of staff who are always available and attentive. The only thing I noticed was that I had to ask for more tartar source and water but they were brought to me immediately upon request. The view from the window is not that... More

I LOVE Lobster Rolls. The hot buttered kind (is there any other kind? Ummm, NO!) and I have eaten countless Hot buttered LR from here to Greenwich. Not one of them had the flavor of the one I ate today. It was simply the most tender, succulent and sweet buttery roll I have ever had the pleasure of wolfing down.... More

The calamari and whole belly clam fried fish platter was bland and tasteless. There was little difference between the fries and fish. The cole slaw was okay but not great. The portion was reasonable and the service good. Would not drive 40 miles to eat there again.

I had a grilled sole platter with three slices of fish plus sides and my husband had the famous fish and chip platter that was moist, lightly battered, and fried to perfection.

Been a couple of times and yet to have a bad experience. Servers are always very nice and friendly, and food is always good. Definitely worth a stop if you have never been.

Everyone loves the iconic Lenny & Joe's and their heaping plates of tasty fried food. I don't care for fried food and, fortunately, they have added several charbroiled selections, including salmon, swordfish and tuna. People also love their new fish tacos and the lobster roll. No view but a convivial bar and casual seating.
