I took my son here for lunch on a day off from school after spending some time in the park. It was really decorated for Halloween which was awesome. The staff was friendly and attentive. Chicken and fries satisfied him and I got the BEST tuna melt I've ever had that came with a nice side salad. The fruity sangria... More

The food is the bomb.com! The view of the pond is amazing and the fall decor was fabulous! I visited here back in September on a girls trip. We were looking for a place that served brunch and stumbled upon this location online. The potato bacon leek soup is worth a drive back! The sandwiches were also to die for!... More

We hadn't been to the Pond House in years and I wonder why. The food is Ecletic American beautifully presented and excellently prepared. This is a small out of the way restaurant in the middle of a public park. I had the duck, pan seared and my partner has the short-ribs both excellent. Interesting appetizers. Entries in the mid to... My cousin, his wife, and I reserved a table for an early Saturday dinner after a family member's memorial service; The Pond House Cafe was the perfect place for us to decompress, reconnect, and enjoy a really delicious meal. The hostesses were welcoming before and after our meal, and our waitress was outstanding -- attentive but not overbearing, and genuinely... More

Nothing's better than sitting outside near the pond, surrounded by flowers and trees, or in teh partially enclosed porch (my favorite) during good weather months. And the inside restaurant is cozy during the winter months. Food is good, reasonable and there's a great variety. Love the brussels sprouts and the kale ceasar salad. Good for small groups as well. Fun... More

Our two couples visited the Pond House. My chef salad was unusual since it had roasted Brussels sprouts. It did not add anything positive to my salad. Service was very good as always. The other lunches ranged from very good to mediocre. The outside area is decorated for the upcoming Halloween holiday. Very fun. The location at the rose garden... More

I have chosen this restaurant for many occasions as do many other people and groups in the area. The ambiance is great for couples, groups, meetings and weddings. The food is wonderful and there are menu changes on a regular basis. The outdoor patio is serene and provides everything required for special occasions. Beautiful scenery and comfortable dining within a... More

The Pond House combines outstanding food with the best atmosphere in the city. Located in Elizabeth Park, the patio offers a fantastic views of the pond and flowers. In addition to the standard dishes (i.e. Eggs Benedict), the money has creative dishes like the spinach, brussel sprout, and kale omelette. All of their menus have a variety of vegetarian options... This is such a pleasant place to gather for a lunch, brunch, or special occasion. In the middle of the park, surrounded in the Spring, Summer and Fall by beautiful gardens, this is a special place. The menu is eclectic, but varied enough that all can find something. Recently, we had crab cake benedict for brunch. It was amazing! Great... More

My wife and I went to Elizabeth Park to view the rose garden. We were pleasantly surprised when we noticed this cafe right in the middle of the park right next to a beautiful pond. We changed our plans to go downtown for lunch and decided to try this cafe. We noticed diners at the garden tables outside (with a... More
