The inn is such a beautiful landmark. The brunch was fantastic. The variety of food would please any palate.

I loved every morsel of food that I was served. The butternut squash soup was excellent, the rack of lame was delicious, and the plum cobbler with ice cream was the perfect ending to the meal.
It has been years since i have been to Evergreens at Simsbury Inn. Today 7 of my friends enjoyed a birthday brunch for one of our group. It was delightful, delicious, varried, beautifully presented, generous. The dining room is lovely, summery, and subdued enough to hear the clasical guitarist and our dining companions. If you don't want to eat in the fancy Evergreens but like that food, try the attached tavern. It's small and friendly with fast service. On Thur,-Sat you can get the same menu as Evergreens. The Duck was luscious, pork tenderloin was a tad to salty given the bacon. The deserts are always fresh.
The room is very banquet like so no ambiance. Lighting was nice. Service was fine. Food was expensive for the quality and can work at improvements.
We had a delightful family dinner. The inn was beautifully decorated, the service was excellent and we enjoyed the singers and entertainment. The menu was set and everyone enjoyed their entrees. We will consider this inn for future special occasions.
We chose Simsbury Inn's Thanksgiving buffet this year to celebrate. We were not disappointed. A wide selection of food from appetizer's to main course(s) to desserts. In a pleasant setting - not too big, not too noisy, no long lines. We will return next year.

The appeal is that the restaurant is downstairs from your room, and you can leave your car parked, enjoy a quick meal and wander quietly back to... More
Had a private group business dinner here while. Did a very good job with food, service and entertainment. Pretty good place for a small inn.
