Running errands and was able to just squeak in before they closed for a quick lunch. Ordered the BLT with fries. It was delicious! You may say there's nothing special about a BLT, but you'd be wrong. This one was perfect, as were the fries....Service is always with a smile, even when they're about to close. I didn't feel rushed at all and I'm sure the table of 6 next to me felt the same.More

Finally got the chance to eat here again and order the Eggs Benedict I've been craving. Service was quick and easy, as usual. I thought I'd be getting the typical slice of Canadian bacon on the English muffin but it was more a huge slab...of ham under each egg. I ended up dragging the ham off of the muffin and slicing it thinly so it no longer overwhelmed the other flavors. Next time, I would order it without the ham or maybe have bacon instead. I would still recommend.More

My first time here and I'm now a fan. I chose this restaurant based on member reviews and am glad I did. Even with a table of 11 being handled, the cooks and staff met the task head on and service was quick. I opted...for a mushroom, sausage and American cheese omelet, with an English muffin and hash browns. It was really good. I'm looking forward to coming again for Eggs Benedict. Yum!More

Small place that from the outside makes you want to get back in your car. I thought oh well I am here now so I went in. I was early and it was not crowded so I sat at the bar so not to take...up one of the few tables. It seems like 4 sisters handle the customer service and I quickly had a cup of hot coffee in front of me as I looked over the menu. Lots of ideas and went with Pancakes, bangers and hash browns. Food came out quick and everything was hot. I loved the pancakes and the bangers reminded me when I visited Ireland. I did not like the onion in the hash browns. As I was eating the place filled up with a line to get in. It seemed everyone knew each other and that it was a family reunion, very nice.More

Small but cozy. Building is deceiving, looks like you should keep going, but you need to stop! Felt like I went back in time. Food is good, service is fast. Have to try their Breakfast Scramble! Everything but the kitchen sink!!

The Top O' The Morning restaurant is a locate haunt for many regulars of Waterbury. The food I would say is rated a 5 out of 5. I've only had breakfast here so I can't speak about lunch but I'd have to imagine it rivals...their breakfast's. Yes the diner is in desperate need of a remodel but please don't let that dissuade you from experiencing their cuisine. Give it a chance you will not be disappointed!More

It's a very small place but the timing was right as nine of us were seated right away. Everyone enjoyed the meal and thanked me for picking this place. We were on our way from New York to New Hampshire so this meal was important,...the food and staff did not let us down. Thank you!More

This restaurant is not fancy and the crowd at the counter can ne intimidating. But you can not beat their breakfast for quality or cost. And the v Complimentary bran muffin is a nice finish The dining is quite small, but don't remember waiting for...a table. I highly recommend this landmark.More

Don't let appearances fool you - Top o the Mornin' serves great food. I've eaten here several times in the past year for both breakfast and lunch with various family members. The service is always good, the food is delicious and there's plenty of it....I'm really happy there's a local eatery that offers so much at relatively affordable prices.More

It's great to have good, reliable, and consistent local restaurants to frequent. Breakfast here is always good, no exceptions. The corned beef hash is outstanding and a must have. Eggs and pancakes are cooked properly, as are the home fries and home baked muffins. The...wait staff is attentive and the restaurant is well kept and clean. This is a local gem, a nice treat!More
