Staying at an adjacent hotel, enjoyed a nice dinner with family. Food and portion size were fantastic. They do not offer a kids menu but they did well to accomodate my son. Upscale, middle age clientel, busy for happy hour and dinner. Appeared to be a hot spot for locals near downtown. Friendly service, great food, fun crowd, if you're... More

Very conveniently located in downtown Waterbury. I dined as a single person on business and was very comfortable. The menu was extensive and the service excellent.

Went there with another couple for New Year Eve dinner. I was blown away by how good the food was as were the other 3 people at the table. From salad to appetizers, to the main course to desert. Additionally the service was outstanding. I recommend you go if you are in the Waterbury area. I recommend you make a... More

Met another couple for a Christmas lunch and it was excellent. Calamari and carpaccio appetizers were excellent. Penne vodka and chicken risotto were also ample and very tasty. Wine prices were reasonable and service was attentive without being intrusive all in all a nice experience

Solo diner--accommodated me without a reservation even though they were very busy. Asked if I could be out in an hour, which I was. Delicious meal and drink. Great service. *Not* inexpensive.

We had a good experience. I typically avoid downtown due to lack of parking however; we were going to see a play at the palace theater so we decided to have dinner because the close proximity of the theater. The wait staff were very warm and inviting. The food was very good and at a good value.

What a surprise! Happened upon this restaurant while staying at the Hilton for a concert at the stunning Palace Theater. White tablecloths, beautiful interior, cozy ambience, we couldn't have asked for more! Ordered the Veal Diorio served with potatoes and vegetable, everything was tasty and cooked to perfection! Service was prompt but not rushed, really set us up for a... More

I had a business lunch at Diorio today. The restaurant has very nice decor, and very nice service. I am actually a little perplexed at the speed of the service. I wasn't timing it, but from the time we ordered lunch until the time it came out, had to be no more than 5-10 minutes. I was a little surprised... More

Celebrated our anniversary at Diorio's for third year in a row. Best dinner yet. We had a salad with fine chopped herbs, veal piccata was great and pasta with Bolognese was to die for. Martini shaken and strained tables side and house Chianti was good. Chocolate mousse was encased with chocolate shell and served with a candle for our anniversary,... More

The restaurant has a beautiful, classy feel. The clam linguini was good, and the bread appetizer with hot peppers was fantastic, great kick. A little pricey at $28.
