Celebrated our anniversary at Diorio's for third year in a row. Best dinner yet. We had a salad with fine chopped herbs, veal piccata was great and pasta with Bolognese was to die for. Martini shaken and strained tables side and house Chianti was good. Chocolate mousse was encased with chocolate shell and served with a candle for our anniversary,... More

The restaurant has a beautiful, classy feel. The clam linguini was good, and the bread appetizer with hot peppers was fantastic, great kick. A little pricey at $28.

Based on recommendations, I was expecting a great business lunch experience. Sadly, that was not to be. Upon arrival, I mentioned that I was meeting a business colleague for lunch and provided his name. I was told he had not yet arrived and was invited to sit at the bar to wait. Unbeknownst to me, my colleague had arrived ten... More

Service was great! Presentation average and food was WAY over priced. I guess it's worth it if your staying at the hotel that's connected because there not much else around but for what they charge I would expect a fair better meal.... Whatever

We went here recently and had one of the best meals we have ever had… the place is such a cool throw back vibe and they had live piano music and singing, which was just a added extra! The prices of the food was just as would be expected for fine dining… the only issue we had was the drink... More

The service here has always been top notch. The meals have always been well prepared and presented. Good wine list. If you want something special, ask. Love to go here.

Ate here with family while visiting Waterbury...I had very high hopes based on the ratings here and the classic architecture and styling of the place...drinks were generously poured...overall atmosphere was what you want in a longtime established northeast Italian eatery...the Cesear dressing was excellent and the salad overall was generously portioned...my filet with gorgonzola was satisfactory while the accompanying sides... In downtown Waterbury, in the middle of the business district, is an upscale, lovely Italian restaurant residing in an old building. The inside has both tables and old wooden booths like that of an old-time pub. There is a beautiful tin ceiling and the original small-tiled floor. Very elegantly done. The booths have imitation Tiffany-style lamps. Otherwise, it's dark, only... More

We dined here on a Saturday night, 6:30 and were impressed by the decor. The interior is dark wood, possibly mahogany, and the tables set with linen and heavy silverware - befitting a restaurant of this class. Our booth was comfortable and our server prompt. We were a party of four and only two people wanted cocktails and one person... More

I visited this restaurant because my work was organizing a corporate meal for some clients. True, there was a 45 minute presentation that had to be sat through, but call me what you want, just don't call me late for dinner! I was one of the first ones there, and the projector screen and table was already all set up.... More
