I've been going to Diorio's since I was in high school. The layout's changed a bit but the food is consistently excellent. I've never had a bad meal there.

We went because we had received a generous gift card, otherwise it would be a bit pricey for any old day of the year. I will definitely return for special occasions. The in-house infused-vodka martini was wonderful. The bruschetta was terrific - I know it...More

It had been years since I had been to this restaurant. The food was good. The service was good. It has a nice ambiance and friendly and accommodating staff - was not so busy but still fine. Will go back again.

This once lovely downtown Waterbury restaurant still has the interior charm but after that everything is downhill. The service does not exist. They have waitresses who off to cloud nine. We were there at 6 PM before anyone was in the restaurant and she still...More

Great restaurant with wonderful ambiance. Pressed tin ceilings, beautiful mahogany booths and woodwork. Had clams casino, classic Caesar salad, cheese ravioli with beef/pork sauce. Unbelievably good. Wife had wonderful veal piccata. Desert ... whoa! Chocolate cake with chocolate mousse layers! Creme Brûlée!

Beautiful atmosphere. However overpriced for Enormous portions. Could have split one entree and we are good eaters. Food was good but not memorable for the price.

Main dishes are extremely reasonable, $15-$17.00. Antipasti dishes 10-15, salads 8-13 and pastas 15. Believe me, you can't get a better Italian meal for this price!! And wine was fabulous.
