for a quick bite this is the fast food place to go. Good, quick service with a variety of options. Family owned ! Some locations open year round, worth the stop.

Fast food that doesn't taste it. Food basically cooked to order. We usually go to the one on Reidville Drive which is small, but we always get a booth. Staff there are always friendly, greeting you when you arrive and leave. Have had their burgers, hot dogs, chicken. Always great. I'm not a seafood fan, but their clams and lobster... More

This walk up, and order place has the best foot long hotdogs around. They are always consistently fresh and hot, and have a wonderful snap when you bite into them. There are also hamburgers, fried clams, and many other menu items available, but if you don't try their hot dogs you are missing out. It is also great if a... More

I've been going to Frankie's for over 60 years. The original on Watertown Ave was in easy walking distance 'down the hill' and we went there often. This closes in the winter, but the other locations are open year round. TODAY we still go, but it's not always hot dogs we order, since there are several other of our favorites... More

Thats a great line that the brothers who founded Frankies used in their startup years. This location and all the others that carry the Frankies banner offer the best and freshest hot dogs, burgers and fries around. This location is a throw back to the old days. Ordering from a long outdoor window, getting a fresh and tasty dog immediately... More

I don't know what the big deal is. Their food is overpriced and use frozen seafood. Portions are small. The hot dogs are all right but I grill better ones.

2 dogs, (big dogs!) don't eat the buns, load them w the fixings, I'm a happy camper! Remind me of Moffa's hot dogs in Danbury (a blast from the past)

It wouldn't be summer without Frankie'e on the Ave. Although dogs are their mainstay they have everything to temp your appetite from clam strips to fried cheese. Worth a stop. No inside seating - picnic seating only.

Everything is made to order, tasty, and fast!! I've had the chicken strips and philly cheese steak sandwich. Try the cheese cubes....yummy deliciousness.
