The best place for a hot dog and onion rings. You have two places in town to pick from east and west end of town. Going to Frankies.

I've been going to Frankie's for years. Great food, extensive menu, made fresh to order... I've enjoyed everything I've ever eaten there.

I have grown up eating at Frankie's! The 1st outdoor spot, they do have a few around town now that are indoor restaurants. Great atmosphere for a casual quick good bite. There is almost always a crowd around the order window. Service is very good and fast. Food is always good for fast food! Same as I remember as a... More

It's great still having a "joint" like this that reminds me of the 50's and 60's. Do yourself a favor and get a dog with the works. Good food and good service. What more could you want??

Stopped for a quick bite. Have always wanted to try Frankie's as it is written up as a Connecticut place for hot dogs. Fun location with really nice window help. Tried the Frankie classic hot dog. Not a big fan of processed cheese spread but now I can say I've tried it. Cheeseburger was ok although a little dry. Both... More

Fast food that doesn't taste it. Food basically cooked to order. We usually go to the one on Reidville Drive which is small, but we always get a booth. Staff there are always friendly, greeting you when you arrive and leave. Have had their burgers, hot dogs, chicken. Always great. I'm not a seafood fan, but their clams and lobster... More

This walk up, and order place has the best foot long hotdogs around. They are always consistently fresh and hot, and have a wonderful snap when you bite into them. There are also hamburgers, fried clams, and many other menu items available, but if you don't try their hot dogs you are missing out. It is also great if a... More

I've been going to Frankie's for over 60 years. The original on Watertown Ave was in easy walking distance 'down the hill' and we went there often. This closes in the winter, but the other locations are open year round. TODAY we still go, but it's not always hot dogs we order, since there are several other of our favorites... More
