Best pizza in Waterbury. It's just as good as Pepe's in New Haven (which I really like as well), if not better.

The pizza here is very good but only when fresh. If you let it go cold and try to warm it up, it doesn't taste as good.

I grew up eating this pizza. The nicest people own this little hole in the wall and it is by far the best pizza around. I think the plain cheese is the best but they do have all the varieties

Been here many times, I got some takeout today and as usual the pizza was excellent, thin crispy crust just enough sauce and cheese I especially like the onion and meatball. No matter what you get you can't go wrong good prices not very big on the inside but there are tables and chairs!!

Every year, my job requires me to go downtown for some presentation at the Palace or professional development activity at the Magnet School. Every year, we have a lunch break, and I allow my colleagues to convince me to go here. And, every year, I leave shaking my head, wondering what the appeal is. It's cramped, it's a limited menu,... I looked up places to eat lunch in downtown Waterbury near the Palace Theater because we were attending a matinee show on Saturday afternoon. The restaurant is very basic with modest tables & furnishings, but the pizza was excellent (I had sausage, roasted peppers & Mozzarella). Nothing fancy..paper plates & soft drinks, but if you want a really good pizza... More

Domenick and Pia is a downtown institution. They keep the menu simple and the pizza is very good. I've been coming to this place since 1992. It was a blind date lunch set up by co-workers where I met my wife. The pizza is simple. This isn't a fancy place. It's small, frenetic and the offerings are limited but it's... More

Like other reviewers, I fail to see the attraction to this place. It's average pizza. There are many better places in this city of true Italian food. It's cheap; I think that's part of the attraction. Try Mario's on the other side of Waterbury. Better pizza, more variety, places to park.
