This is one of the best lunches I have ever eaten. I am usually skeptical about ordering Pate in a new restaurant, but I did and I'm so happy I did. It was so good, and the presentation was so appetizing. The owners and the employees were all so friendly. My sister had the soup and it was delicious. My... More

Popped in for a soup and Sandwich- soup was fantastic and the sandwich was tastey if a little on the expensive side- but the general vibe was great so well worth it

Stopped by for lunch before checking into the nearby Mayflower and had a delicious little lunch. The roast beef sandwich was one of the best I've had. Not much else in the area - but who needs somewhere else when you have this.

This was my first time here and came for lunch at a friend's recommendation. Pantry is a warm, bustling, lively country community center where fresh baked breads, deli, gift shop, bakery, catering and restaurant combine into one fabulous local institution. Everyone here is happy...the lunch has wonderful gourmet sandwiches including the best roast beef sandwich of my life. Or you... More

This is a little place, packed for lunch on a Tuesday. Food all fresh high quality. It is said some high power people and even well known celebrities, some not to distant neighbors frequent her and can be spotted dining. One can stand in line for to go orders or sit and be waited on. Taxes and tip included in... More

First of all, if you are looking for a cheap lunch, keep driving! The parking lot was absolutely overflowing with luxury cars...the first tip off that this is an expensive place. But the food was excellent, fresh and delicious. I loved the carrot slaw. We shared a turkey sandwich, which was good but really a dinky portion. Good thing my... More

Popular spot, great for lunch. Fascinating menu. I had an assiette consisting of truffle mousse accompanied by gingered carrots, olives, slaw, and baguette slices. You will be tempted by the array of clever kitchenware items that are on display throughout the seating area. Wine is available for leisurely dining. There is also a counter of tempting take home foods.

We went out for a drive to investigate new spots for hiking. We hadn't been to Washington, CT before so we thought we would check it out. We stopped in at The Pantry for a late lunch and we were not disappointed. The staff were pleasant and welcoming and the food was delicious. The only reason that I wouldn't give... More
