We were in Vernon to see my husband's new purchase from Kaplan's Cycles and took a room for one night at the Holiday Inn Express. The desk clerk recommended the restaurant right next door. We are well-versed foodies and have spent a lot of time...in the North End of Boston, and it was Italian that we could just walk to. OMG! To say we were blown away is an understatement! The food is delicious...fresh ingredients, well seasoned, just great Italian food! The Caesar salad was crisp romaine, crunchy croutons and not swimming in dressing. The pasta bowls are wonderful...but order the lunch size! SOOO big, we took some home and it was great reheated! I had the Giobotto...so good with moist pieces of chicken, sausage, hot peppers and green olives (the wonderful bartender said to have it with penne which was perfect), and my husband had the beef and veal Tortellaci...also delicious! But, the most amazing part was the Tiramisu! As good as what we have had in Boston! This is a must try restaurant! The staff is friendly and service is perfect!More

We have eaten here in the past, but had not been for some time. My wife ordered the Veal Marsala and I had their lasagna. Both were very good. We both had ordered the lunch portions and had more than enough for another meal at...home. Atmosphere is pleasant and our server, Ashley, was attentive. We will visit again.More

We stopped here on our way back from vacation on a cold winters night. Food was incredible. We had lasagna, manicotti, eggplant Parmesan. The food was very flavorful and marinara sauce best we ever had. The restaurant was full on a weekday night and staff...was wonderful and welcoming as well. This should be a ‘must stop’ for locals and travelers.More

I'd like start by saying the waitress was very very nice. A friend and I had an urge for Italian food. We chose Angellinos because it's close. I had looked on the website to check out the menu. They have "Daily Specials" and Tuesday was...Family-Style Dinners. You get a pasta, a meat, salad and garlic bread. $21.99. Terrific ! Perfect! A nice meal to share. However, when we sat sat down the daily specials on the card was-Take Out Family Meal $23.99. Ok still good price. So we asked about the special on the website. The waitress said-no it's this and it's takeout. We showed her the website so she went to check with someone. She apologized and said only take-out. Now it raised the question "How would we know about the take out special if it's not on the website and it's only on the table card. You wouldn't even see it unless you sat down, bread and drink on the table etc . We asked for a manager. Nope only take out. She could care less about the advertising on the website. She stormed off in a huff. The waitress apologized again-of course it's not her fault. Then they call the general manager. Nope again. It was actually humorous at this point. Who doesn't honor an ad? Some companies will give it to you free if the ad is wrong. Anyway....bad customer service. There's plenty other Italian restaurants.More

We were on a 12 night road trip and stopped for the night on our way to New England. The hotel staff recommended Angellino's next door. We had the best meal of the trip! As mentioned in other reviews, we'd been advised about the portion...size and ordered a small portion which was more than plenty. The pasta was fresh, it certainly tasted as if it had been made that very day. I often shy way from ordering shrimp in a restaurant as it can often have a metallic "previously frozen" taste. I'm so glad I took the risk. My shrimp with tomatoes and spinach was excellent. I could go on but let me end with: love the fact that they have Grumpy Hour.More

Good size, tasty meals at a normal price. Appetizers, meals and dessert were all very good. Service was also very good. We often eat lunch there also.

En route to Cape Cod, we had dinner here. We were warned to order the "half" portion. We really enjoy pasta and this restaurant did not disappoint. Even the half portion was more than we could eat. The salads (included) were fresh and delicious. Service...was great too. We would go back again if in the area.More

Early afternoon lunch before an art show brought us to Angelino's. We seen the sign and decided to try it. Hostess was very pleasant as was our waitress. Bread came with butter and delicious roasted garlic. We had a choice of soup or salad. Salad...was very fresh with a choice of dressings. Meals were large but still expensive for lunch. Yes, we would stop there again.More

Great recent experience at Angellinos. Reminds me of Sofia's in Enfield which is a Family Favorite. Wait staff was the most outstanding part of our experience, both servers in our area of the dining room were friendly, charming, and were working extremely hard to provide...outstanding service. Portions are plentiful and definitely provides the feel of a family, home-cooked atmosphere. Baked Penne is recommended.More

I have no idea. We generally drink wine. Suggest you call and ask. They seem to have just about everything.

Call and ask. I do not drink beer. They have a separate bar so I am sure there are ample choices.
