Great seafood selection. Prices are a little high but the service is excellent. Bar staff is fast and friendly. Recommend.

My wife and I enjoy a really good seafood selection, and it's difficult to find a good selection of oysters. The Oysters were wonderful. We proceeded to steamers - also A+, and then the Bluefish which was A+mazing! It's very hard to find good bluefish....glad we found it here!

We went for lunch. Most of the menu is pretty expensive (even for fish), but the sandwiches are an OK buy (especially if you can get a voucher). I ordered something I rarely see - and Ipswitch clam roll. We knew them as soft-shell clams, and they are a real treat for me. They were fried on a roll, with... More

Very busy on the night we went. It was our last choice because everyone was booked. Wait time for food us unimaginable. Hamburger was so over cooked. After that who wants to wait for something else? My husband got a fish sandwich. The amount of fish was enough for one piece of bread. Other couples to each side of us were... More

A great place for a fresh seafood dinner while at Mohegan Sun Casino. Large selections, and ample portions at average prices.

So many choices and all are excellent. Fried scallops are out of this world, lobster roll is over-stuffed.

Ate at Summer Shack 10/1/16. My wife had the hot dog. About a quarter of the way through, she noticed mold on the hot dog bun. A lot. Needless to say, she immediately lost her appetite. We told the waitress , who notified a manager. She apologized and took off the price the hot dog ,two sodas , and my... More

I like the shack for the good food and simple ambiance.Sit at the bar. Eat some of the huge variety of oysters. Chowder. Maybe some steamers or the fish special. Wash it back with a beer. Good times.

The ambiance is non-existent. The food is average, and the prices are way too high. A typical, overrated casino restaurant. I guess if you measure it against other casino joints, it is OK. For me, I expect a lot more. DG

I wouldn't say there was a lot of food on my serving, and that was probably a good thing. It is just not the large size we americans are used to seeing in restaurants. They have fresh lobster done several ways at market price and some great fish of the day specials.

Thank Ilogjr
