Sorry to say they close for vacation every July for about 10 days and it doesn't always time out when we come here. It is so old school Italian, Mama in the kitchen and Papa running the dining room. Very sweet.

Our favorite place to dine before a show in downtown Torrington. Good food, good wine selection and friendly staff. Not by coincidence, it is also a favorite of many other theater goers, so reservations are highly recommended!

it may not look like much from the outside but inside, you are in for a family feast. Some of the best food you can eat and eat. It looks great on the plate and it even better taste just as great when you eat it.

We enjoyed a mini family reunion on Mothers Day. Delighted to see owner Michael greeting his very loyal following. This is a fine, old school Italian ristorante that has been around for many decades. They feature an excellent selection of veal and pasta entrees, you can request fettuccine Alfredo prepared table side, as well as Caesar salad. Their tiramisu is... More

My family has been going to this restaurant for at least 60 years, and it's the "go-to" place for special occasions. The decor is charming, the waitresses seasoned and professional. The oysters, when in season, are always superbly fresh. I recommend choosing from the specials menus, because although the food is universally good, the specials seems to be especially tasty,... Not for the cheap of pocket, this little gem treats its patrons like royalty. There is no way to describe the food; it is that good. All the pasta dishes are excellent as are the meat entrees. The salads are fresh and delicious. The bread served with the meal is the perfect Italian loaf. It is not cheap, but, worth... More

Went with friends for a Monday lunch. Unless you get the lunches that include soup or salad, menu gets expensive. Between my a la cart salad and pasta, I was already paying 23$. Food was delicious, but cannot afford going all the time.

This is a pleasant place to enjoy extremely exquisite Italian cuisine in the heart of Torrington. It starts with a warm welcome when entering the restaurant that carries over throughout till you leave. The owner always make you feel special. The gnocchi were like my grandmother made. My wife always raves about their chicken dishes. Sauce is homemade and portions are good.

The Venetian was a study in old world style service and fine cuisine, my experience was not unlike dining in Amalfi, Italy.
