Located in the center of downtown Torrington, you will not be disappointed!! Great atmosphere for getting together over drinks, dinner, lunch, great food and entertainment. Perfect before or after a show at the Warner Theater.

We had the whole package - great service, delicious food, nice atmosphere. Even a Brussel's Sprouts hater might like their small platter, in which they are well seasoned and then roasted to perfection! And actually it is not small at all...a very large serving. My friend eats there often and loved the chicken quesadilla which has a chipotle aoli that... More

This is a great place to try different types of beer even though I don't drink beer. They have a good selection on the menu & have great salads & other food choices.

We wish we can give higher than 5 Stars but we can't. The party was awesome as was the entire Backstage staff. 1. Servers - Jasmyn and Greg were great. They were very attentive and pleasant. They went beyond the call. They were polite and always there when needed. 2. Kitchen staff - super and very attentive 3. Management -... More

Went for lunch and food was okey but could have gone elsewhere with less expense. Went for an after show Irish Coffee and had to tell the bartender how to make it. Waitress went out of her way to make amends.

8:30 pm I roam the streets of Torrington. It's like my mind is on fire, the constant monotony of the daily routine falls on me. The bugging reminder that I can't even escape to a bar, too many familiar faces, same beers, same drinks, same everything. I took my chances and entered what seem to be a ritzy joint; beautiful... Backstage, located next to the Warner Theatre in downtown Torrington, serves casual American food from its full "all-day" menu, prepared fresh from scratch. Service begins daily at 11:30am, and the kitchen stays open late on performance evenings for after-theatre dining. Select from crisp salads and hot soups, creative Small Plates, Perfect Burgers of hand formed Angus patties on house-baked rolls, popular sandwiches, and Big Plate comfort favorites. House-made desserts are a specialty. The antique mahogany bar soars 14 feet above the trendy zinc counter, and presides over northwest Connecticut's largest offering of craft-brewed beers. 24 brands are available on tap, with the bottle selection at more than 70. The well-rounded wine list is popularly priced, with several wines offered by the glass. Customer service is a passion at Backstage. Servers and bartenders serve up our unique "Awesome Customer Service," and management is visibly present during all meals.
