Not terrible - not superb - just meh. Average - tiny cramped inside with a cute patio nicely decorated with Christmas lights. For the amount of people there's no reason we had to wait the amount of time for our food we did

Kevin Cousin is a fine and consistent chef. He has assembled an excellent and congenial wait staff that truly make you feel welcome. The outdoor dining space, particularly relevant during this pandemic, is relaxing and carefully spaced for the new normal. There is an admirable...devotion to locally sourced edibles. The menu is quite extensive. Looking over my last review (a year ago) , once again the wine list comes up short. From the limited choice of whites by the glass, I chose the most expensive, but obscure, Chardonnay. It tasted like a Riesling Auslese. I didn't expect a sugary drink, and while I didn't complain, I left 2/3s of the glass and was thinking of all the fine Burgundies and Italian Chardonnays in my wine cooler. My wife's Carbonara and my Pork Chop were both very good (but not quite excellent). Desserts (a Creme Brulee and a Cannoli were pleasant if not transcendent. I'm happy to have Tosca as a reasonably close and reliable venue. The price point is fair and they provide a quality product.More

Take out is very well managed( gloves, no personal contact and social distance is maintained) in this difficult time and the food is as good as always. I can’t wait to be able to dine inside the restaurant when we get thru this pandemic. Support...these folks as they strive to help us enjoy wonderful food!More

Hubby and I came here for an early valentine's date. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was fabulous! Fresh made pasta and a steak that was cooked perfectly! Next visit we hope to have room for dessert.

Went to Tosca for the first time - it was an amazing culinary experience ! Who knew you could get fantastic Paella in CT ? We met friends there and all of our meals were phenomenal. Cooked perfectly and offered with substantial portions and elegant...presentations. Our waiter, Nick, was truly awesome with a detailed knowledge of every dish on the menu and of the specials that evening. Service was courteous and prompt as all the staff pitched in taking care of guests throughout the dining room. Ambiance was perfect with just the right amount of soft lighting and quiet music playing in the background that allowed one to carry out conversations in a normal volume. This is definitely a gem of fine dining in Suffield CT. Can't wait to go back and try some other dishes. Chef Kevin Cousins really is a fantastic chef !More

Stumbled upon this gem on NYE on our way back from time up north. We actually were headed to another restaurant and got a bit lost and am so happy that we found Tosca's! We had perfect timing as we didnt have a reservation (suggested)...and we were able to go to the bar area where a couple were just leaving. ALL of the staff are amazingly friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious! I have food allergies that they accommodated me with a delicious dinner within the restrictions of the allergies. The ambiance is very relaxing. You MUST try it out!More

DELISH food and a relatable menu. We had the bolgnese and pork chop special - so yummy! Brussel sprouts were a perfect appetizer. The service was exemplary. The setting was lovely. We’ll definitely be back.

Service here was as fantastic as the food. I ordered the bone-in slow-braised short rib with truffle macaroni and cheese. The short rib was so tender and full of flavor. It was almost falling off the bone, but not overdone. The mac and cheese was...hot and creamy with a crispy topping. I could have eaten it forever. Everyone at my table enjoyed their food very much. Then we ordered desserts. I ordered the lava cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. My co-workers each ordered something different: strawberry ice cream, apple tart, creme brulee. All were perfectly prepared and plated. The perfect end to a memorable dining experience.More

We dined here with a party of nine people and had a mix-and-match of salads and appetizers for starters, all of which were excellent, especially the dry and crispy calamari. Salad greens were crisp and fresh, and everyone's entrée was delicious. These included the bone-in...short rib, pasta bolognese, black garlic steak, and my own double-cut pork chop (a special of the evening). The Decoy cabernet sauvignon went well with all dishes, including the desserts, mine being the Luxardo cherry ice cream. Tosca was busy for a Thursday (when we went), and our server gave us advance warning that it would take time for all dishes to be prepared because everything is cooked fresh to order, and the finished products spoke for themselves. All around excellent cuisine and service.More
