Festive atmosphere takes you out of CT for awhile. Always great food ! The freshly made pico de gallo with the chips is a great stater-more spicier the better. There are plenty of choices for the main course. Finish dinner off with a piece of flan or the jalapeno margaritas..... or both ! The staff are very friendly! We love... More

Not the best Mexican food I've had (but hey, I'm Mexican so I may be biased here), but it does the job when I'm craving Mexican food. It's more of Tex-Mex restaurant rather than authentic Mexican food; their food is good and prices are fair. Their Chile con queso -which I love in most Mexican restaurants- was really bad, never... Have been going to Acapulco's for years. The food and the service are always good. My son is in college and the first thing he wants when he comes home is the Bean & Cheese Burrito from Acapulco....

I went with my family and it was the worst service ever and the food wasn't that good either. I was Sunday night and there was only one waiter taking orders, a lot of employees "holding the walls", but he was the only one working. I guess because wasn't the other employees job to help us , they didn't care.... More

They expanded the space a few years ago so getting a table is rarely an issue. Chips and salsa always come out quick, and their homemade salsa is always a bit different but always excellent. I usually get fish tacos or spinach and cheese burritos with black beans (hold the rice). Fast and friendly. Reliable and consistent.

It is the only Mexican place in town. The food is average Mexican - nothing out of the ordinary and, I think their prices are a little too high. Service is always good and it is always busy. Nothing to write home about.

Acapulcos has been here in Stratford for a long time, and is still successful & a great go-to for a night out or even take-out! Stratford doesn't have that many great restaurants in comparison to other local towns, I am glad Acapulcos is here for a night out with girlfriends, or some family friendly take out for those nights you... This place is good... just good. It's always busy, because it's the only standard Mexican (margaritas and chips) in town. But the food has often taken WAY to long to come to the table and the prices are too high. I'm glad it's there but it's nothing to write home about.

We love Alcapulcos... it's our go too for Mexican. They also have amazing Margaritas! Parking at times can be a pain, but food, and service is great and we have never had to wait to be seated or too long for our meal. . We have never had a bad experience.

Today was my first visit! I had heard many review from several people so I had to check it out for myself! We were seated and waited on immediately which is always a plus! Food was really good BUT the Rita's good use some work! I would like to taste some alcohol for $10 a drink. I will be back!!
