My husband and I visited the café with our two small children. The service was brisk and considerate. There were fun little toys for our children to play with. The food was good and reasonably priced. Nice spot!

The PEI mussels in the garlic butter sauce are some of the best I've ever had! The Watch Hill oysters were fresh and delicious. The scallops were great and the tuna as well. I had cod which tasted a bit off but my waitress promptly took it away with no problems and gave me a new dish. All-in-all great place.
This is one of our favorite places on the shore. The food is always topnotch with service to match. Sarah took very good care of us on this visit. The Coconut Shrimp was a perfect starter before the Mahi Mahi Caesar Salad. Whether your first visit or one of many the staff treats you as friends. Oh, did I mention... More
We stopped in during lunch and expected a long wait but were pleasantly surprised to have the hostess immediately take us to a table with a view (my request). We were then quickly given our menus and specials list along with a bottle of water and some glasses with ice. Since it was a very hot day... we wanted a... More
This was sure a pleasant experience. We sat a the bar for dinner and the bartenders and the locals were a joy to talk to. We started with oysters for an app and they were so fresh. Dinner was seared tuna and bouillabaisse, both so just delious and cooked to perfection. We can't wait to go back, and thank you... More
Super location at water's edge - great seafood & wonderful drinks!! Very crowded at lunch time even during the week - aim for Happy Hour instead

We gave our names at the front desk, they asked for our cell #, we went outside and walked around the marina, grabbed a beer at one of the outside huts, and a... More
Went on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed our meal. Excellent lobster salad. My husband had the tuna and said it was excellent. Would not hesitate to return to if in the area.
I love lobster rolls and the one I had today at Dog Watch Cafe is the best I've had on the CT shore!! The hostess told us that we'd have a 20 minute wait, which was fine because the dock behind the restaurant has a really nice bar. We no sooner had our beers and we were called for our... More
