Siena Restaurant is consistently the best Italian food in Stamford. Being from the Tuscany region of Italy, it is not the typical red sauce-soaked meals of most southern Italian restaurants. Most of their dishes are more creative and subtle in flavor. Hands-down our favorite Italian restaurant when we want a top quality meal!

Had some pasta with the girlfriend on a sold out Alive at Five night and my expectations were met with Siena. They offer a solid menu and polite staff, will be heading back to try more cuisines. The desert drink at the end was a nice touch to top it all off. Would recommend!

Closest thing to Italy in this area. There are six (non-steakhouses) worth eating at in Stamford. Siena is at the top. Whatever you may order, you will be pleased. Unfortunately, if the place is crowded, the noise level is at a din. Service is excellent.

Visited Siena Saturday night it was packed. The food was great the restaurant was very loud and a bit warm. Highly recommend for the food my wife and I both had the Barbarosa salad, very nice and the Tartufate pasta outstanding. My daughter had the Rigatoni also great.

We've been several times and always pleased with our food and the service. The front windows open for a nice breeze and there is good parking in the back.

The food is great, from antipasti to pasta to entrees. Try their home Fettuccine Tartufate - that's a dream come true if you like good pasta! The owner is there most nights and the whole place runs like clockwork. You always feel welcome and taken care off.

Smaller than I would have thought, but the size allows the staff to really give an extra touch of personal service. The marinated white beans served with crusty bread is a winner. Good Italian wine selection by the bottle, and the veal chop is just outstanding!! If I'm in the area again, would love to go back.

The food was fine, typical Italian fare. Certainly not worth the $25-35/entree. More concerning though was the lackluster attention by the wait staff. We were ignored for large swaths of the evening, and every part of ordering took several attempts to accomplish. There was also evidently a ration on water, as our carafe was never refilled, leaving us thirsty for... More

I had the octopus appetizer and then the fish lunch. People this is the very best restaurant I have ever been to in Connecticut. Very good wait staff. It is down right fantastic. Go. Go. Go. It is a bit pricey but the food is so good I didn't mind paying. Again I say. Go. Go. Go.

This place encompasses both the elegance and coziness of a fine dining family Italian restaurant. The food is excellent. The first time we visited over a year ago they had a fried zucchini appetizer that I still think about! The ravioli is fresh and delicious as well. Recommended for a classy date night out!
