Visiting with family, including grandchildren, it was the perfect spot for a comfort food meal. The service provided by Sadrack and his colleagues was efficient and personable.

Kids being far flung across the country, my husband and I, once again, visited Long Ridge Tavern for Thanksgiving Dinner. Service was slower than I remember, but staff were pleasant enough. We both had Vienna Schnitzel as we are not turkey lovers at all. I started with the stuffed ravioli and my husband had the squash soup. Both delicious and... More

We have been here quite a few times and sometimes it's good and other times not so good. This was one of the not so good times. Avoid the fish and chips. Very previously frozen fish that reminded me of Mrs. Smiths Fish Sticks. Service and atmosphere good, but food up to their usual averageness.

If you are looking for a five star dining experience, then Long Ridge Tavern is not your place. HOWEVER, if you are looking for a good meal and reasonably priced, LRT will not disappoint. Fish entrees have always been fresh and meats and foul are prepared well. Throw in live music on Friday nights and we have not been disappointed... More

We have always loved coming to the Long Ridge Tavern for their burgers! Well .....Only Average now. The onion bun was so dried-out and burnt. We wish they would go back to offering different buns ---- A plus note: The Chicken Pot Pie was Excellent. Fix those buns -- spend a little on a nice brioche one!

The Tavern is housed in an old building in the back country of Stamford and very little has changed in its atmosphere over the years. The menu is sufficiently varied to please everyone, the food is okay and the prices are attractive. BUT, the service is unbelievably slow. We were a group of five for lunch with less than a... More

My wife and I met friends for brunch. Being Father's Day, it was quite busy. However, having made a reservation, we were seated promptly and greeted immediately by our server. Drinks were brought to the table and we were then told to help ourselves to the buffet when we were ready. Typical brunch items, done well and abundantly. The staff... More

We stopped in about 9:00 on a Friday to a place we have eaten and seen bands at before to see Sister Sun play tonight. They are very energetic and into the music playing mostly their own material on this visit. After the show the keyboard player and bass came over thanking us for being there and chatting a bit.... Visiting Stamford and wanted a place to meet friends for brunch. Did some research and the menu sounded good so made the plans and we sure were not disappointed. A simple, but wonderful variety of breakfast, salad, meat, and fish dishes and simple tasty desserts. A definite keeper for future visits.

We eat here when we meet friends/family because it's a central location. The food is ordinary but there are round tables for please group dining. Service is pleasant and there's never a rush to hustle you out. We'll be back.
