Navaratna is the only authentic vegetarian Indian restaurant in Stamford. Pros: They have good selection of both South & North Indian menu and their dishes tastes good. Cons: Sometimes you need wait longer since the dishes are freshly prepared.

Have been there three times. Have never been disappointed. Very nice menu, great selection of yummy vegetarian Indian dishes. It is a vegetarian reataurant. The service is good. Never had a bad meal there.

Excellent service, huge menu, good guidance on ordering from the waiter, delicious food. We returned something for being too spicy, they were totally ok with it and took it back no charge. And they even gave my yr old a free mango shake for dessert.

So, let's say you want to have a great kosher, south Indian meal, and you are in Stamford, Connecticut. By far, the best Kosher, South Indian restaurant in Stamford is Navratna!! Seriously, the food is excellent. Go for the twelve buck Mumbai Thali.

One of the best Kosher Restaurants you will ever come across! Authentic Indian cuisine and it's kosher! The service was great and the food was delicious. The most affordable Kosher Dining I have come across in North America. The soups are out of this world. Highly recommended when visiting Stamford.

Was in Stamford on business and thought I would give Navaratna a try. I first looked an Tripadvisor and the restaurant has a very good rating and it was in walking distance from my hotel. It was most enjoyable. Was a nice evening so I sat outside. I ordered lentil meatballs. Very good and just the right amount of spice.... More

This is one of the best place to have Indian food. Ambiance is nice and overall you get a feel of home country. Cost wise bit expensive but very tasty.

I have lived in the CT area for 10 years ago. Early on, a Sunday visit to satisfy the craving for Indian food meant a long trek to Edison, New Jersey, or navigating through heavy New York traffic to Lexington Avenue. With Navaratna now in Stamford, we can enjoy a relaxed lunch or dinner. Great taste, great variety and very... More

The food is very tasty and consistently good. The Gobi Malagai (sp?) is one of my favorites. Prices are really reasonable and the atmosphere is lovely.
