best pizza I've had in years and oh my such a fun beer menu! Went with a large group which always stunts service but they did well and once that pizza hit the palate...it was nirvana.

My wife and I have been here twice in the past month. Once we sat on the small seating area outside and once inside in the room with the wall paintings of famous musicians. The decor of the restaurant is very cool. The wall paintings are very nice and there are a bunch of guitars made from cigar boxes and... More

this is a very average pizza place, they attempt neapolitan but fail to execute on anyting past the crust, the toppings arent that fresh, i got a little bit of a stomachache later, the appetizers are bland, go to fortina instead!

Loud, noisy, lively place full of energy. Great for parties and large groups too. The new 'back room' is really nice too!!! And this place has the best beer selections anywhere in the area. Their eclectic pizza selections are spotty...some are excellent and others aren't. And pricey too. Don't bother with the concoction made out of tomatoes and drizzled (actually,... More

It would be hard to complain about Coalhouse food. It's consistantly fresh and very appetizing. The suggest pizza combos are great or you can create your own. The salads are fab which lots of healthy veggies. Service is attentive, but not overbearing. Only drawbacks are the noise level can gt pretty high and the chairs are very uncomfortable.

Aside from having great GREAT pizza, Coalhouse has the best beer selection in Stamford, maybe all of Connecticut. There is more on tap than the website menu shows. They tend not to advertise the specialty stuff online. If you're a local, join the beer club. Its a one time $20 fee and you get a free pint every Tuesday plus... More

Coalhouse pizza is a very common destination for our family; they have a remarkable selection of wood-oven pizza's, great beer choices and lots of stuff for kids to choose from. Food hardly disappoints; pizza is totally different from NY style, and has a fluffiness-crunchiness mix that reminds you of the one you'd find in Napoli. Taste of tomato sauce and... More

we had a large pizza and they allow you to do half and half on all their pizzas. Had a half Lucille (tomato sauce, Mozzarella, Prime Beef, White Truffle Oil) and half Freight Train (Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella, Parmesan Cheese, Crumbled Sweet Sausage, Onions, Mixed Peppers). This allows me to get my sausage fix and my wife to get what she... More

Coalhouse pizza is popular for their beer. My son and I went there for dinner last night. We ordered a large split pizza, a glass of chardonnay, a glass of beer and a coke. Our bill was $47.00 I thought it was high for a pizza place specially when they charge $14 for a glass of wine. The wine was... More

I've enjoyed the pizza at Coalhouse Pizza on a few occasions. I stopped for a solo dinner recently and decided to try one of their burgers. Since I don't care for coleslaw, I asked the server if there were any alternatives, such as a side of vegetables or salad. He said they could put a small salad on the plate... More
