The food was good if unremarkable. Certainly give you plenty for the price. The staff is friendly and I feel actually care about you. I would come back.

Food is always great and huge portions. The price is very fair. Recently, my family used Basil's as a gathering after a funeral. The waitstaff were pleasant and extremely attentive. The room was 100% ready when we arrived and they even served up the desserts that we brought. Nice Job!!!

Went on a Friday night.... place was very loud. Service was just OK, missing silverware, drink order never came, one appetizer never came. Server was nice but seemed overwhelmed. Food was decent but not great enough to offset the issues we had.

The outside fakes you out. Its nice but inside is very nice and clean. Our waitress was sooo nice. I had the chicken parm and hunny had the ribeye panini. Everything was delicious. Very large portions. All ingredients were fresh and you could tell in the taste. Would recommend to everyone!

We had an amazing family lunch at Basils. They did a great job taking care of our large group. The salad dressings were excellent. The entrees were all flavorful and cooked well. We will be back when we are in the area.

There was 8 of us, teens and adults and caught them just before their summer shutdown/ renovation week. As with this area of Connecticut, you can easily miss an establishment along the country byways, luckily, our native family come here frequently. Basil's is deceivingly much larger than one would think from the front parking lot...all done in a clean, modern,... More

There were eight of us for a family dinner. We had appetizers of bruschetta and fried mozzarella, both of which were very good. Dinners ranged from baked scroll to chicken picatta. Nobody had a bad meal and most left with enough food for a least one more meal, if not more. Portions are very large! We had a reservation and... More

We always receive a warm greeting and a smile from the owner when walking through the front door and a thank you when leaving. The service is excellent and the food is very good with large portions. It's the best place around in its category.
