On my way to a meeting I stopped in to this pleasant little restaurant on the main street of Simsbury, CT and had a popover and cup of coffee, But there were many other choices. While I was there a number of "locals" came in...More
We love popovers. The popovers are right out of the oven and delicious and large. We had breakfast here. The eggs Benedict was yummy and the root veggie hash I would only give 4 stars because as with root veggies, they take a while to...More
Went with a friend on a rainy Saturday, and were seated along the windows. Each time the door opened, we felt a cold chill come in.

Warm, friendly service. Waffle ham and cheese sandwich. Giv coffee. Surprisingly not the typical in your face Simsbury establishment. Very relaxed. Great food. Can sit and have a coffee or have a bite.

The popovers are oversized, cooked to order and can't be better! The lavender tea is delicious. Other items are average. The service is a bit slow and the staff seem easily confused. It is quite expensive, but where else can you get popovers like these?
Tried this place with a friend, had the goat cheese - avocado - egg on sourdough. It was nicely done. My coffee cup was never empty, same for my friend who also enjoyed her meal.
Will definitely return!
We stopped here for Brunch and absolutely loved the popovers, salads and sandwiches!
The freshly brewed coffee is also a treat.
I would stay away from the spicy Buffalo Cauliflower - even though my daughters loved it, it was very hot and spicy - -...More
