The reviews look good online but I was disappointed with the quality of the food, which was mediocre given the prices. The crab cake had very little crab and way too much breading, the bread with the meal was some tasteless pita and my salad...More

I've had several lunch and dinners here. Metro Bis is in the 1820 House, a grand old inn located in Simsbury center. It's a very nice area. The dining room is fresh and appealing and the service is very good, but the food ranged from...More

Quaint atmosphere with great food, menu is always creative, service is great! Wish they had a real bar area for a cocktail, small bite and conversation.

I've been delighted by Metro Bis every time I've had the good fortune to dine at this great American restaurant. Never disappointing, the food, service and atmosphere have been dramatically better than most other fine-dining places in Connecticut. I'd recommend it for celebrations, parties between...More

We were staying at the Simsbury 1820 classic hotel and their Metro Bis for lunch. Hamburger was delicious, my wild greens salad was generous with olives, dried tomatoes, blue cheese and toasted walnuts. Semi-Intimate but noisy. Staff very attentive and organized. Very clean and the...More
