I wavered rating this place from 4 to 5 due to an initial hiccup with our reservation. It was my mom's 90 birthday and we'd asked for a round table with a waterview. We didn't get either, but the staff more than made up for...the issue. Everyone at the party ended up pleased, especially my mom. Of particular note was the grilled calamari appetizer. I rarely see it because few restaurants can cook it properly. So I was happy to see it on the menu and even happier when I cut into the tender squid bodies. It was a real treat. Having moved South 3 years ago, I really miss a hot lobster roll. So I had one for my entree and filled that desire. Other reviewers have mentioned it and it really is that good. Large chucks of lobster. I ordered it with potato chips which are homemade. I can't thank the staff enough for making my mother's 90th birthday a memorable event.More

My wife and I went for lunch. We ate outside. The setting is great on the water. The staff is wonderful very professional and friendly. My wife had an excellent gazpacho followed by a fried branzino which she said was done perfectly. I had steamers...and fried oysters which were very good. She had key lime pie for desert which she really enjoyed. I had warm chocolate chip cookies with chocolate ice cream, very good. It was a most enjoyable lunch. You must have reservations.More

We moved recently to the Norwalk area, so we just visiting restaurants around. This one is a gem! My wife and I loved everything that we ordered, from oysters, through calamari, and mussels. Additionally, a great, friendly service.

We visited for a light meal and this was acceptable, We got a table at short notice and were by a fire which was a nice change from the sea view. My husband ordered fried oysters but these came in a thick batter which was...a little disappointing. I had crab cakes which are always good and my son had a tuna dish. Service was efficient and friendly. Just not quite as inspiring as usual.More

The place is wonderful year round but especially nice in the summer with its outside river patio and fish market for slightly more casual lunch or dinner. Reservations are suggested. It’s great food with a wide variety of dishes specializing in fresh seafood. A favorite...for cold or buttery hot lobster rolls. If you’re in the area, come and check it out.More

We live 5 min from the little town of rowayton..my friend and I were on our way to sails restaurant but it was closed for lunch .. so we headed to rowayton seafood 🦞...it has a lovely menu but a little bit pricey.. you have...to pay for the view of the river you know ...I ordered a Cobb salad it came chopped very chopped and taste wise very disappointing I ordered fried oysters 🦪 on top they were ok some were so small it was just crunch instead of oyster...the house Chardonnay was pleasant ... my friend like her blue cheese burger 🍔.. She is a trained French chef 👩‍🍳 and she is French so she like her burger rare.. not me .. we finished off with a chocolate molten lava cake no complaints thereMore

A+ on all measure. Amazing food, service, atmosphere, cleanliness, view... Lou and Gene were marvelous hosts, friendly and very accommodating even on a holiday. We each had the lobster roll, one cold one hot... both amazing, exactly what we wanted and just enough, not too...much. Both had a wonderful salad and a small serving of Cole slaw that was creaming and delicious. Potato Leek soup and lobster spring rolls were amazing. Honestly all the food served was fresh, tasty and delicious. Arguably, this could be the best waterfront restaurant in the state. It's worth the trip. We'll be back from Westchester for sure.More
